It's basically locked galleries from different characters, which you unlock with tokens. The average price is 250 tokens, or roughly 60 generated images. They include 20+ images and a video or two, and they've been reviewed to ensure there are no apparent hallucinations or errors, allowing you to see how they arrive at the valuation.

Candy AI's characters can feel a bit limited. For images, all the faces blend together after a while, especially when looking at similar characters, like Asian or Black girls. And while the chat can be creative, it will often just give a short reply, encouraging you to say what happens next. While some may enjoy this amount of control, it can demand enough effort that it feels more like writing bad fan fiction than an exciting encounter.

Without tags, a search, comments, or ratings, it can be hard to browse the pre-made characters. Sure, some users might only want to interact with their own creations, but it's still frustrating that there's no way to find all the big-tit goth babes, most liked characters, or other groupings.

The image generation quality is inconsistent. Most of the time, I have to retry the exact prompt two or three times to get a version of what I'd asked for. And even then, the image would still have obvious issues, like impossible proportions or other hallucinatory artifacts.
