When images and videos were generated, they followed the prompts pretty well. The model does especially well with muscle definition and lighting. Some felt oversaturated, though. However, the videos felt constrained to a single animation cycle, which often felt like half the six-second length I set. Multiple characters aren't supported, but the prompts I used that involved a second character met me in the middle, like the guy's thighs during a blowjob or a hand reaching out to take something offered by a hostess.

Roleplaying with AI Characters on Tyan AI

Every conversation starts with a message from the AI automatically, which makes roleplay scenarios and the like harder to manage, especially since you can't delete or change messages in any way. However, there doesn't seem to be much emphasis on context, so if you reply with something totally unrelated, the character does a good job of rolling with it. You also can't set your own persona or insert negative keywords.

Character personalities differ depending on how they're designed, with each conversation feeling distinct. Longer replies might be rarer, but there is at least some variability between a paragraph or two compared to a single sentence. I didn't love that every reply was entirely lowercase, but I'm both willing to give the benefit of the doubt that this is intentional and to imagine people who might not be as bothered by this as I am.

As for the sexy kind of conversation, it's hit-or-miss. Characters are generally evasive to the topic, and there's no descriptive text to make it more intriguing to read. This is probably in service of the voice chat, which can have a contextual lilt, to its credit. Your first message might also include suggested replies that fit the conversation, but could be completely incorrect.

Tyan AI's Personalization and Features

There's very limited personalization on Tyan AI. You can't change any aspects of the interface, nor are there any global settings available for your profile. The same holds true for the characters, as you can't export, edit, or clone them. The interface also lacks discoverability features, like tags or advanced search, and you can't leave comments or rate characters.

Similarly, the character customization doesn't allow for much creativity. The available options aren't extensive, and there's no custom option for any of them. Also, it's weird that you only get eight clothing options and that they differ depending on the NSFW toggle? Also, that same toggle may not be totally effective, especially with adult content you generate yourself. You also can't add any additional features to your characters, like freckles, tattoos, or glasses.

The chat interface also isn't much to write home about. You can really only Pin chats, which basically acts like favoriting them. You can also blur media or clear your conversation, but that's it for functionality outside of the option to generate videos and images. Also, the My Creations section only shows you content from your chats, not the images or videos you've generated, which can be a bit confusing until you're more familiar with the site's interface.

Do I Recommend Tyan AI?

Tyan AI is a discount NSFW AI service. That doesn't mean you should "discount" it, though. Both its roleplay and image generation are flexible and generally conform to user prompts. Video generation is a bit lackluster, though. Most of the site's offering issues boil down to a cost-benefit analysis, especially given its lack of usability and customization features. Overall, if you're looking for an inexpensive way to get into adult AI generation, this might be just the ticket.
