Virtual reality has been quickly growing in popularity, so it's no surprise that new studios are popping up all over the place. Real Pornstars VR may look like a small studio from the outside, but all of the content is created by the producers at Naughty America. They have been the forerunner when it comes to technological advancements in the industry and has been shooting VR porn since 2016. With this new site, they've leveled up their virtual game, and am I ever happy they did.

Right when you log in, you're welcomed by a banner advertising a few of the latest scenes and a high-res photo of the featured model. The model roster is still on the small side since this is a new site, and that's expected. But that doesn't mean it's lacking quality where the performers are concerned - it's quite the opposite actually!

You can expect to see trending starlets like Melody Marks, Emma Starletto, and Blake Blossom, as well as bigger-named pornstars like Gia Derza, Payton Preslee, and Dee Williams . I'm excited to see who else gets added as the site continues to grow. There is a model index that lists the performers' height, weight, and preferred sex position. Unfortunately, only the profile for Violet Starr is filled out - the rest are blank.

While there are only 8 scenes, this really is a case of quality over quantity. And no, it's not a cliche. Each video is produced in 6K and runs at 60fps for super smooth playback, regardless of whether you're streaming directly on the site or downloading.

There are also directions for how to download which files for which headset. They suggest visiting autoplayvr.com or purchasing Virtual Desktop on Steam. There are also multiple resolutions to choose from and you can even watch some of them on your smartphone with a viewer, like the now-discontinued Samsung Gear.

The pics are high-res and each gallery has about 300 pictures, ranging from SFW shots to hardcore . The models are dressed up in expensive-looking, brightly colored lingerie . The pics shot landscape-style would make a great background on your desktop (hint, hint, nudge, nudge). 

Aesthetically Pleasing Film Locations

When I'm watching any kind of porn, something that I look for is how the sets are designed. I know, I know, why would I even think about that when there's a gorgeous girl kneeling in front of me ready to get down? When a shoot location is classy, brightly colored, and clean-looking, it really ramps up my immersion. When I start watching a new scene and the girl is rolling around, teasing the camera on a small twin-sized bed with old bedding and outdated decor, I question the whole scene.

The sets here are minimalistic - the walls are painted in soft pastels and there's a neon sign shining with the site's namesake in the background. It looks good without being overwhelming or taking any of the attention away from the performers.

VR That Keeps Up With the Times

When VR first started showing up in the porn industry, things were at a pretty basic level. This is partly because the technology itself was still relatively new but also because the equipment, like headsets, was not up to par yet. They were either too expensive or difficult to acquire for home use. When the Meta Quest 2, formally known as Oculus, was released in October 2020, VR took the porn world by storm. And the videos here are perfectly compatible.

Missing Important User Tools

Now, throughout this review, I've touted that this membership is worth it because of the quality. I still stand by that. But I was underwhelmed by the lack of usability. The navigation is as basic as they come. Like other sites, you can browse by videos, categories, or pornstar, but that's where the customization ends. I understand that since this is such a new site, there really isn't enough content to require more advanced features, but I expected a little more.

Once you've landed on a page, there isn't any way to sort or filter your results. This means that when you're looking through the videos, you're looking through all of them. If there's a category that you're interested in, you'll be scrolling through a full page of tags. It was the same for the model index. Luckily, the girls are listed alphabetically, so it's easy to find who you're searching for. And no favorites, ratings, or comments, either.

If you want to be a member of a growing site from the beginning, this is your opportunity. There's still a lot of work to be done here, though, especially compared to similar sites. It'd be great if they could start dating the content and getting some VR bonuses from Naughty America VR would be nice too. Currently, I can't totally recommend it because of the low content count, lack of user tools, and the price point. I can only be hopeful that all of these things will get better with time.
