The network this site belongs to happens to be one of my favorites in the BDSM niche, so I was excited for this review. Kink University is focused on tutorials, which is very important for those curious about this kind of lifestyle. And the site doesn't just focus on BDSM, although much of it does.
Besides blowjob and cunnilingus how-to's, there are ones on caning, flogging, enemas and fisting. There are also a few shibari videos. And they're all great! I've visited quite a few Kink.com sites over the years and they're always fascinating and supersexy. I think this one makes a terrific addition to their family.
When you sign in you end up on the network and have to choose KinkUniversity from the "channels" tab. They used to have a "more" button to navigate through the pages, but they changed the setup. Now, there are actual numbered page links below the thumbnails and it provides a much more user-friendly experience.
Other things helping you get around the site are tags and a basic search bar. You can rate the scenes and post comments, too, which is pretty helpful on this kind of tutorial site. They don't have a favorites section, sorting options or an advanced search, though - well, they do have an advanced engine, but it's for the model index only.
You'll find 111 high-def videos and I like that you can use them to really study the techniques. At least one shibari movie employs slow motion and really gives you the chance to see how the rope is being manipulated. There are also vid caps with each scene. Unfortunately, they haven't posted a new scenes since July 2016 and there's no indication of whether more scenes are on the way.
At least your membership brings you access to the rest of the network. You can check out other training sites like The Training Of O as well as other fetish sites like Bound Gang Bangs and Public Disgrace, where you'll see the many lessons in BDSM being applied.
Kink University is worth the cost of tuition and you can use what you've learned to enhance your enjoyment of the kinky bonus sites. In a "Fifty Shades" world, it can be tough for BDSM newbies to find proper instructions and who's better at doling it out than Kink.com? If you're the curious type, this online fetish institution will help you out.
