Climb Into the Lap of Luxure

Luxure is another site from famed French director Marc Dorcel. He works with beautiful, modelesque women to create passionate, intense sex scenes that feel more like peeping into someone's private moments than the hardcore porn you know and love. This collection of licensed content and scenes from his main body of work, Dorcel Club, is sure to get your heart racing. But is it all it's cracked up to be?

What Are You Getting?

When discussing Luxure, it's crucial that you understand the kind of French porn that Dorcel produces. It's all about warm colors, sensuality, and passion. All the women wear expensive lingerie as well as makeup, giving them a classy, glamorous look. He's clearly trying to go for a blend of artistic expression and realistic sex. Even the plots are believable, with most centering around a couple going on a date or experimenting with another attractive couple.

Action-wise, it's mostly glamcore porn. They're not shy about threesomes with two women, but scenes with two guys are rarer. You'll also find some lesbian porn with two or three girls, and they're just as keen to try anal as the girls in the straight scenes.

Speaking of talent, most are starlets or pornstars you may recognize. Tiffany Tatum, Alexis Crystal, Angelica Black, and Anissa Kate are examples. There's definitely a European bent to them, but you'll see some Asian and Black performers too.

As a member, you get access to 171 videos and high-resolution photo sets. View the photos on the site or download them individually. Streaming and downloading the videos is unlimited. The maximum streaming resolution is 1080p, but almost all the scenes download in 4K . They provide HD and a few SD files as well.

You also get the rest of the Dorcel Network. This includes the sites Girls at Work, Africa XXX, and XXX-Vintage. Both the vintage and African sites are licensed content, whereas the last site is similar to Luxure as it's a curated set of Dorcel's work.

What Works?

Most of Luxure is a painless browsing experience. The site looks good on phones and desktops, and its dark theme is easy on the eyes. They provide filters, sorting options, and an advanced search. Interaction is more limited, as members can only save the videos or models to their favorites list.

It's always nice to see loyalty programs like the one here. Every day that you remain a member, you get three XP. After a week (20 points), you can unlock a pack of videos. The next set costs 180 XP or 60 days of membership. They go all the way to 2,070 XP. This is all partner content and you may recognize sites like BAEB, Bang!, and 21 Naturals.

The video player works well. You can use the keyboard shortcuts or scrub the timeline to get frame previews. They also mark most scenes to tell you when the action changes. And while you can't cast the videos directly, you shouldn't have an issue getting the site to work with Chromecast or other devices.

Customer support starts with checking the FAQ they provide. If you don't find your answer, send them a ticket and make your voice heard. They provide a cancelation process through the site, but you can always go directly to your biller if there are any issues. 

What Doesn't Work?

I don't know how often the site updates. My best guess is they keep the original upload dates from Dorcel Club, but it obscures everything on Luxure. The Most Recent scene is from March 2021. But the Older videos have more recent dates, including one from this year. My guess is updates are bi-weekly or monthly, but we'll have to check back once the site has had time to grow.

Some common usability features are unavailable across the network. Tags, comments, and ratings are on that list. And while a couple of sites don't provide photos at all, those that do don't include Zip files. Even worse, they only offer the files in Webp format.

Exclusivity isn't much of a concern these days, but sometimes I wish it was. This site is a good example of why I feel that way, as it's mostly content from Dorcel's main collection. But it's what's not from him that's the real issue. His licensed content is often only in SD or maybe Full HD and has a totally different feel. In a larger collection or a less distinctive brand, these issues wouldn't seem as glaring as they do here.

Do I Recommend It?

If you like Marc Dorcel's work but don't want to join Dorcel Club, Luxure (and the rest of the network) is a great alternative. You still get high-quality glamcore porn and a bunch of interesting bonus content, including the loyalty program. Still, it's hard to say how often the content comes out, and it's not really exclusive. Chances are you'll only need to watch one video to decide if the network is worth the ticket price.
