Visit iCams

The iCams tagline is "worldwide amateurs on cam" and I gotta say that that is perfectly accurate in terms of what you are going to see when you check it out. The site looks like almost every other live cam site. Down the left-hand side of the page are category links with the number of live models that fit a specific niche (redhead, pierced, anal, hairy pussy, etc). And filling up the rest of the page are thumbnail images of models. There is also a bigger, advanced search, feature that allows you to select various criteria to narrow down the models.

At the time of writing this review the models taking up the first 16 pages are all online as is indicated by the "online now" note on their image. That makes for around 550 babes to choose from, which is a nice number and I had no problem finding plenty of women that I wanted to go private with. You can even add models to your favorites for quicker access.

Other things to notice when browsing the thumbnails is the girl's name (or the guy's name for the dude cams), her age and a flag representing her country of origin and, I assume, location. Checking out her page you can see what languages she speaks, so don't be dismissive of foreign babes. Many of them understand English.

Also, above her image you will probably see a sound icon, which means that the model has a microphone for voice chat. And then the most important thing to see is the HD indicator. I was happy to see that many of the models had this indicator, because I noticed a real big difference between the HD cams and the non-HD ones. Some chicks have an HQ marking. These tend to look better than the non-HD ones, but they generally weren't up to the quality of the high-def cams.

That is all the info you can get from browsing the thumbnails, but once you click on a chick then you can actually see her live on cam and read her profile for whatever little info she wants to reveal. It isn't usually that interesting and the free photo galleries they provide are just webcam shots and not really worth much considering you are staring at the chick live anyway (I guess it could come in handy if the chick wasn't online at the moment).

As with 99% of cam sites it is free to chat with the performers in the free chatroom. Here you can check her out, have a look at her cam quality and ask her any questions you might have (Does she have toys? Does she do anal? Will she stick her glasses up her pussy?... Or whatever questions matter to you).

Now, it's time to take her private and to do this you are gonna have to drop some coin. The good news is that when you click to go private you will see how much that model charges and you can then go through to private or cancel and go find someone else. The bad news is that many of the babes are asking a slightly higher price.

It did vary quite a bit, but I saw lots of babes asking over $4/minute and a bunch were asking over $5 even. Now admittedly many of the non-HD cam chicks did have lower prices, but at that point you are going to have to decide for yourself how you balance cam quality versus per-minute price. Sometimes you can also find a lower price on a performer who is already in a private chat and has made it possible to watch her show (no chatting for you though, just watching).

Some final things to mention are that there is a cam-2-cam option and you can make the cam window bigger and smaller. There is, however, no session timer, so you will want to keep track of the minutes yourself -  especially when you are spending four or five bucks per minute. With all the HD cams and the fact that it is free to check them out, I can see no reason not to at least head on over.
