Pros and Cons
- works on iPhones and Androids
- lots of performers online
- many reasonably priced cams
- some navigation issues
- variable cam quality
If you were online looking for a good live cam site, then one called Cams.com would seem like a good place to start, right? Well, I'm here to tell you if that's the case or not. The first thing I check when I sign in to a live cam site is how many models are currently online.
Checking in at different hours, I found Cams.com to have between 400 and 650 women online, so everything was good on that front. The next step was to actually check out some of these babes and see what they had in store for me. Unfortunately, although the site has updated their design, there's one aspect of the navigation that they didn't change and it's a bit annoying. If you're on the homepage and click on any of the categories or page numbers and then enter a chat room from there, when you go back, you're redirected to the homepage and have lost your page/category selection.
The site still has a basic template, but the color scheme and visual esthetic is a little cleaner and nicer than before. You'll see the complete lineup of available performers, who each have a small preview pic along with icons telling you their age, if they have sound, an HD cam and more.
The more can be "buzzmode" and/or "connexion." Buzzmode allows you to tip and control a vibrator inside her. Connexion is a one or two-way interaction that takes place in private chat where you can troll the toy she's using. If you have a specific toy connected as well, you can both react to each other in real time. There's also an advanced search that allows you to multi-select among a bunch of categories, including race, eyes, hair, age and language. You can also filter by category.
The chicks are a mix of in-studio and work-from-home, but I was happy to find that most appeared to be typing by themselves instead of having someone else do it. I picked one who had a hot thumbnail and headed on in. After checking her out in the free chat and making sure she was willing to do what I wanted, I clicked to take her private. This is always a good thing to do to make sure she speaks and understands enough English (assuming that's your first language).
A little warning came up telling me how much it was going to cost per minute (the price varies from model to model) and when I accepted, it was time for me and her to have some fun. There's also now the ability to watch your credit total drop as you're in the chat so that you always know what you have left.
There are some excellent-looking cams here (marked HD) and others that range from mediocre to great. There is sound for most, so you can listen to the babe rather than just have her type. They also offer a cam2cam option if you want the model to be able to see you as well. They all have bios, some vid caps and a link to any of their recorded shows.
The next important thing to consider is the price and because they use a tokens system it isn't as easy to figure out off the top of your head. First you need to determine how much each token costs and then divide that into how many tokens each babe is charging. Also, it looks like the performers all set their own prices.
So, with that in mind, I saw private chats ranging from $2-$3/minute to as much as $7/minute and I'm going to call the average around $3-$4/minute. Because the site has a good selection most of the day, a little browsing should help you find a performer who meets your needs and budget. But be prepared to click around and in and out of profiles if budget is your primary concern.
For lower prices, you can even check out the recorded shows of which there are over 45,000. A lot of the thumbs lead you to group shows, which is annoying if you want a 1on1 chat, but great if you want to save some money. Also, I checked the site on my Android phone and I must say that the HD streams looked awesome.
For a monthly fee to Cams.com you can become a premium member or join a model's fan club. This will get you a few extra features as well as a percentage off the cam prices, but I would suggest waiting to see how it goes with the pay-per-minute membership before dropping a monthly fee.
