Thug BFs Review

User-submitted tube-style sites seem to be all the rage these days in the straight and gay worlds of porn. So that's what you're getting with Thug BFs as it delivers you a mix of ebony solo and hardcore gay sex along with interracial hookups that have that amateur look and feel that many folks find so appealing.

I am not sure all the vids are truly submitted by everyday folks, though. Sometimes, you get action shot with the camera on a tripod or some dude jerking off in front of a webcam, so they look like the genuine article. Other times, they're probably produced in a studio, because production values are higher, even if they're made to look homemade. Either way, it's safe to say that this collection is partially exclusive at most.

I find the navigation here a bit tricky, because when you sign in, you end up on a network page and if you click "movies ," you end up seeing all the scenes from across all 21 network sites. So instead, you need to select "Thugboyfriends" from the dropdown in the upper-right corner. Then the homepage will change to show just this site's flicks.

It turns out that there are 142 videos (updating stopped back in 2011) and although there are a few scenes that are 20 minutes or longer, most are only a few minutes long. It turns out that most movies are below average in quality with few average-quality exceptions, and on top of that they can only be streamed in Flash. At least you can skip ahead in the footage right away.

There is a photo section, although there aren't any photos for this site. In fact, rather than drawing from all the 21 sites like the video section, it simply has one set of a random 80 images that are not specifically related to any one site on the network. Some are photos, some are screen caps and some are extreme closeups of body parts that you will barely recognize.

Some of the 20 other sites that you can check out with your membership are Homo Thugs Exposed, Homos In The Hood and Harlem Swagger, but keep in mind that although I've chosen some theme-related examples, the network is actually very diverse. Although bonuses are nice and are meant to entice you to join, I have to say that I've seen a good number of sites with a similar kind of porn and they simply do it better. I know that part of the appeal is supposedly that you're seeing truly homemade gay porn, but Thug BFs needs more videos with better-quality playback to get my recommendation.
