Having done so many reviews I have come to understand the conventions of each genre, so I thought I had a pretty good idea of what to expect as I headed into Extasy Cams. However, I am a big enough man (in more ways than one – if ya know what I mean) to admit that I was a little wrong.
Now, obviously one would expect a cam site to feature chicks performing live on cams and on that count ExtasyCams lives up to expectations. However, other live cam site conventions are thrown aside here. Although, at first I wasn't sure if I was just missing something. And since there is no help and/or FAQ it took me a little while to figure out how it all worked.
While normally a live cam site provides free public non-nude chats and a paid private chat, this site does it a little differently. There is no free public chat where the models tease you with their clothes on to get you to take them private.
When I was on, there were close to 100 models live on their cams and as I browsed I came across some who were clothed and chatting and others who were in the middle of stuffing fingers and/or toys into one, or both, of their holes. Then there were the babes who were clothed when I clicked on their cam, but who, upon my request, got naked and playing pretty quickly.
The problem were the ones who seemed to either ignore what I was saying or drag out the conversation without doing anything. This was quite annoying, especially when they would just sit there and smile and not even respond to what I was typing. The site provides a clock counting down the time you have left, so it is going to take a little discipline on your part to watch it.
Speaking of cam quality, I will say that overall the cams look average. They have a nice feature wherein you hover your mouse over their face and it'll tell you what their cam quality is, which is nice since they don't allow free chats.
While there were some real duds, most of the ones I checked out had a pretty clear image and fluid motion. Also, the per-minute prices are low. You purchase a block of minutes and the more you buy the cheaper the per-minute price becomes (from $0.49 to $0.66 depending on the block you go for). Extasy Cams is worth your consideration and a slightly different take on the live cam site.

One big problem is, if you have problems and use the support form, the only answer you get is an automated mail, that has nothing to do with what you asked for. Short: no support.
I have been visiting this site on and off for a few years now, esp since Wellcams fell over. I agree that this site has deteriorated over time, in a number of ways. I find the video freezes a whole lot - thought it was my connection - but when I open another tab and bring up the same model on another more expensive site the feed there is usually flawless.. this site is in Romania now - I thought it was originally in the USA (?).. hence the vast number of Romanian models. Oh and Mike (comment below) -the reason that RealLove wanted 30 mins is because these girls know they get less cents per min from extasycams and so want longer to get what they think their nude is 'worth'. Ho hum.. Some girls just straight up tell you to go see them on one of the other sites such as CumTV or XCams or Streamates - where they make a whole heap more bucks (of course).. btw RealLove is called Frieda on XCams lol... Generally the experienced 'models' here treat this site as a chit-chat site, and save the stripping for the $2+ per min sites.. I can't stand the 'padding out' that goes on here - Hi hun hru? nice.. u age? nice.. u name ? nice.. u from ? nice.. married ? nice.. have cam hun ? no ? is ok hun.. what u like in sex ? and on and on and on.. then with luck a guy on another site hits the 'private' button and you get to see the girl naked - unless she's real experienced and hits the 'girl has left the room' button and you get dumped. One girl - a huge titted brunette who was then called LoveMe & BeautyEscort - used to try and get me to travel to Romania for sex... errmm sure 'hun'.. but her spot now has a different more ordinary girl working it. Overall ? You get what you pay for I guess, and if you can stand all the drop-outs you can find some gems here, and chase them over to the big-buck sites if they really float your boat. I'll keep visiting this site to keep tabs on some sweet hotties like SlimToy and Lisa19, but the drop outs and 1000 question pad-out sessions are wearing thin
Manly I think you missed my point hun. What i was saying is that I do video chat with the girls and I have a great respect for what they do. My point was the "hard sell" by reallove.....spend 30 minutes or no skin....who even said I wanted skin? In fact I have NEVER ask any of the girls I chat with to undress or do anything. Ok I enjoy this site mainly because once you find a regular girl you like you can count on her being there quite often. Several of the girls are really good and likewise several are just awful. I found out from one of my favorites that the "Top Models" get prime spot on the opening window and that the girl that is first on the site is normally the top earner that month. Well I think that is true, I visited and spoke with a girl who's hadle is reallove....more like realCON...this girl blatantly told me she was the top model and she chose who she performed for and unless you stayed at least 30 minutes the most skin you would see were the soles of her feet.....what a BITCH she is. Other girls I've talked with have been great, some have difficulty with English but most are good. Well, this is site used to be good. A real bargan and several hotties ready to have fun. I used to really enjoy the site and before would have given it at least a 90. I have used it for more than a year. To be perfectly honest, I do not get much real "action" and with my being self-consious, I do really appreciate the value of cam-chat. It gives a person the oportunity to gain more confidence and meet friendly women (even when meeting friendly women in real life is not easy). Then came the upgrades. The quality of the site totally SUCKS! The serve connections always drop during chats, the audio feeds continue for several minutes after disconnecting with a model. And the overall quality of models has drastically gone downhill. There used to be a few girls that didn't want to play or weren't "into it". The girls now rarely ever want to play and if they do, it is a really half-assed effort. You have girls that don't answer you, ignore you, or just want to talk and nothing else. It has become a real waste of money. When you DO find someone that is worth spending time with however, and who wants to spend time with you, it is a great experience. I really do wish they would at least allow for a better rating system for models. Some description would help. It really is a shame to see this site fall apart, I wish they would fix things up, maybe use some better ratings so we would know if someone is not on the site for the purpose of the site.
