When I arrived at Sakura Live, I saw that it claimed to offer the hottest Japanese chicks on the planet and the best high-def cams on the Internet. Needless to say, after seeing what the site was promising, I had some pretty lofty expectations. Did it live up to them? Read on to find out.
SakuraLive claims to have a roster of over 21,000, but when I use their advanced search and look up all girls, 18 to 35 years and older, I get results of 7,200 babes. It looks like there can be anywhere from 50 to 150 performers online at any one time. Because they're on the other side of the planet, the times when the site has the most models is different than many other cam sites. Don't be surprised to find twice as many hotties in the morning than you would late in the afternoon, for instance.
As I mentioned above, there's an advanced search function that allows you to whittle down the selection by age, but you also have options for appearance and breast size. You can highlight the gals who have mics, are new to the site and have toys for playing too. Most of the hotties have a few pictures to help you make your decision. Most pics are pretty small and unimpressive, but they serve their purpose.
Once you settle on a gal, click her thumbnail and you'll either see a preview video (if the babe is getting ready to perform) or a great-quality live feed coming directly to you from her bedroom. You purchase points ($2 per point, with better rates in larger packages) and cash them in for private shows, chats and the like. The average is around $4/minute, though you'll find some babes a little higher and a little lower.
The first model I spoke to was in the middle of making herself squirt. It was one hell of a first impression, as she was gushing like a geyser. I could have watched her all day, but duty called, so I checked out some other chicks who were friendly, stunning and more than willing to be naughty on camera.

Pros: Nice, attractive girls, clear streams, good selection of models, two way cam feature.
Cons: Super expensive, a lot of models do not speak English, some charge one credit to respond to their messages.
The site sucks, I feel I wasted my 3.00 just even signing up. No chat beforehand is a huge minus. You don't even have a page to see what they'll do for you. I wouldn't spend any time there honestly.
There are some great girls on this site, but finding them can be a chore and sometimes cost money. Generally, I've found that the performers who are in their late twenties or thirties are the most professional and don't waste any time. They get right to it as soon as the chat starts and start to disrobe while talking to you via mic. I recommend setting your Adobe Flash player settings to Always Allow this site beforehand, otherwise you can run into problems when the pop-up box asks you to allow or deny permission to use your webcam.
The younger models, particularly those who are around 18-20, seem to be the biggest scammers/time wasters. The overwhelming majority of performers are solo acts, but there are a few pairs. I've found these pairs to be the biggest scammers of all. I started a chat with two of them, asked them to get started (in Japanese), and they spent about ten minutes wasting time and waving at the screen. At first I thought it was an audio problem, but when I sent text messages, they didn't respond. When they finally DID respond with a text, it was through the private messaging system, which costs 1 point just to reply. Whenever I tried to reply in the chat, they would respond in a private message, trying to trick me into wasting points.
In summary: if you find one of the older women (and a lot of the older women on this site could give 18 y/os on competing site a massive run for their money), you're in for a good show. Avoid the young performers, though -- they're not interested in showing a damn thing, just trying to skim points off you.
Remember what you are paying for is just to enter into chats with them. Whether they take anything off is entirely up to the performers. You are not guaranteed anything. Some performers are scammers and never have the intention of taking anything off. They just want to nick points off your account (cause they are paid based on the points they accumulate off the viewers) and you will see nothing at the end of it. All they do is maybe flash their panties or their bras. I've wasted around 15 of my points already on nonsense like these.
It costs more than you think! What they do not tell you is more than half the girls expect you to chat them up before even doing anything. One guy used 30 minutes chatting a girl up and all she took off was her top and all you see is her in her bra. Have fun with that! There are others who take less time, but at $2 a minute, they are really taking the pi$$. A minority of performers do not even show their face in a session too. AVOID unless you have loads of cash to burn.

The girls are stunning and friendly and the video quality is good. But the cons outweigh the pros. Here are some of the problems I had:
-The Price: I wouldn't mind paying up to $4 for a private show but the problem is just the initial chat stage costs money. Compare that to other sites where you can talk to the girls before you start a show, this is definitely a minus in my book. The prices are higher than normal as is, and then to charge even for private chats is annoying.
-Audio Quality: I tried two different rooms and in both of them, there was a massive delay on my audio. Girls were asking me questions and then thinking I didn't hear them or didn't understand them, which meant a lot of repeating before they finally heard my response.
-Japanese text entry: This was really annoying. If you know and can type in Japanese, you're in a good position to chat with the girls since it's their native language. The problem is that the characters don't show up on the chat box until you hit enter, which makes it difficult to type in Japanese.
Overall, I was extremely disappointed. Again, the women on the site are amazing -- very friendly, very willing to please and the video and sound quality (at least on their end) is excellent. But with the amount of time you spend just making introductions with the girls and trying to figure out that the mic doesn't really work on your end, by the time you actually get to a private show, you could end up spending $50-70 for a show that would cost you $10 on a competing site (and that's estimating high).

The site does offer promise in theory; however charging just to initially chat and then having the model stroll around the room after telling me to 'just wait', while the points balance drops to zero is not likely to see me coming back.
