Looking for a decent live cam site? Well I've got one for you and it is called Flirt 4 Free. It is pretty simple to get around and it looks good, so no complaints on that front.
The number of models on Flirt4Free varies depending on when you login. You'll find around 50 to 100 women online most of the time. Also, during my last visit, there were 30 to 90 men online, along with 5 to 15 shemales, for a yummy taste of two worlds at once. They don't make it obvious, but if you click on the magnifying glass in the search box you will be taken to a very nice "advanced search" area where you can narrow down the type of babe you want.
At least once a month the site features a special live show with some of the hottest names in porn, like Gina Lynn and Brooke Haven. It just so happens that this site is the exclusive live-chat home for Ron Jeremy, Gina Lynn, Tera Patrick and Jenna Jameson, among many other pornstars.
In October 2012 they added a new feature called "super voyeur." It's basically a multi-cam application that lets you view as many as six different voyeur shows simultaneously. Each show will cost you two credits per five seconds, so if you add all six, you will burn through a lot of credits very quickly. As such, I don't find this new feature that interesting, but I never liked spying on voyeur shows to begin with.
If I can't control the action or pick the performer I like (your selection is limited to the voyeur shows that are live at that moment), I might as well just watch a porn movie. However, those of you who don't like to interact with the performers and just want to spy on the action, this would be a unique way of doing it.
They also have group shows. Seems like they copied Streamate's gold show concept. You pledge a certain amount of credits to watch a group show and if enough users pledge and the target amount is reached, the performer does it.
It doesn't take long to sign up for a free membership that allows you to talk to and watch chicks in public chat rooms. The performers will flirt and maybe even give you a softcore clothed show, all in an effort to entice you into a private show where they will get naked. And there is a cam2cam option should you want to let her see you as well. Keep in mind, though, that some performers mute unverified members (those without any credits).
If you want to get to the good stuff you will have to purchase time by buying credits that you then cash in for private shows. You're looking at around $4.25/minute for most cams, though many get as high as $6. Those prices are a little high in my book, but there are reduced rates if you want to just be a voyeur to someone else's private show or join a multi-user private chat. They also have "party chat" rooms where the performers work purely for tips and the show is free for members.
They give you a timer that calculates how much time you have left, which is a really nice feature that will take the stress away and allow you to always be aware of your credit balance. And you can always tip the performer should you feel she deserves it. There is also the ability to be notified when your favorite model is online. You can add performers to your favorites and send internal emails to the chicks.
They added support for iPhones and iPads in December 2012. Unfortunately, it's not well-executed. It uses HTML5 instead of Flash and this is probably why the player didn't work on my first-generation iPad. I tried it on my iPhone and things worked fine, except that you cannot view the video feed and chat at the same time.
The feed opens up a QuickTime player and streams the live video, in very good quality, but to view the chat, you need to pause the feed and go back into the performer's profile page. Seems ridiculous to me. The whole point of a site like this is interaction, not just watching some feeds, be they live or not. Hopefully they'll change this.
The performer profiles have an expanded review section. They also have the option of blogging on the site. The customers who gave the highest gifts have their nicknames displayed on the performer's profile. These features are nice, but they come too late for them to make much of a difference because the site's heyday is behind it. Back when it launched, it was popular with pornstars, but most of the big names have moved on to Streamate.
There's still a mix of pro and amateur performers on the site. The same is true for the quality of the cams. When I was on the site I noticed about half of them (maybe even a little more than half) were marked as HD. The first thing I did was check out a few non-HD cams and I found them mediocre, with some coming in at average.
As for the HD ones, well, most of them had a clear and crisp picture, but a few of them were a little choppy and less fluid in motion than I expected. I will say that finding clear and fluid HD cams wasn't hard, but overall I would have liked to see a little more consistency, especially given the price-per-minute.
A VIP membership option, which is billed monthly, gives you access to tons of archived shows, an exclusive picture gallery and some other stuff. However, you still have to purchase minutes if you want to go one-on-one with the models, so it doesn't save you much money.
There are some nice features that Flirt 4 Free provides its members, but the high price-per-minute and hit-and-miss cam quality are problems that make a recommendation a little hard to make. Remember, though, it is free to sign up and check it out for yourself.

I agree with almost everything you say about flirt4free. You prices are far out of date. On average it is $6.00 a minute which is $360 an hour! You are certainly correct about the top quality girls moving on to Streamate. Flirt is certainly past it's prime.
as a performer, I would recommend models to search elsewhere. They put my private shows on thousands of websites, and refuse to remove them. There are a lot of other great sites.
Site has a good range of models so you can find the good ones. It also has party chat where you can talk to model with other users and watch long show for free or even tip 10 credits (about $1). Five or ten mins groups chats with other users cost 50 credits ($5). Pvt are around $6 a min so quitr expensive but you get lots of free credits if you buy in bulk.
So it is a good site with lots of good models and chance for cheap action. Downside is that pvt is a bit expensive and of course models only get one/sixth of money which is a shame when visitors tip thinking they are giving model lots of money.

I sent an e-mail requesting to change the e-mail address I had on file for my account. Two hours later I get a call from one of their operators on my cell phone asking what new address I would like. Be aware that when you give your phone # they actually will call it. Also, they send e-mail to your inbox from "Flirt 4 Free." Sites like these are usually more discrete. I stopped using it for those reasons. When I called to speak to an operator I got a grouchy, jaded, nasty hag that said it's "not like we called you and said 'hi' this id Flirt 4 Free." My response was, "yes, you did."
This is awful site, it's like a cage for models and it's customers. Models get only one dollar and less from 6. To earn at least 100 bucks, she has to sit more than 100 mins in pvt and tell everyone that she is horny. Then she gets her 100 bucks and the site 500. That's hillarious. Plus the f4f administration records the models PRIVATE videos without their permission and don't pay anything for it. Long ago it was super site, not anymore.
