*** June 2006 update: Over the last 8 months Master Lens Dungeon has grown like we hoped it would. Updating, based on the numbers, at a rate of about one new episode every 10-14 days. Unfortunately, we were also disappointed with video quality and that, I am sad to report, hasn't been improved. The amount of content available has now reached a proper level, but without the other improvements it probably isn't a site to which you will be running to sign up. ***

Master Lens Dungeon almost sounds like a play on words, except I wouldn't exactly say that the camera lens work displays that much mastery in the dungeon. The BDSM niche has continued to grow in popularity and we're seeing more and more amateur sites popup with various levels of professionalism in terms of content quality. I was pretty convinced that MasterLensDungeon might end up being better than some of the rest since its homepage was so sleek and slick. However, in the end, it was all pomp with mediocre substance.

"Real amateurs" who want to experiment in the world of pleasure and pain star in 38 episodes. Despite agreeing with the idea of these ladies not being professionals, it seems unlikely that some of them are truly first-timers since at times, it gets pretty rough and they all take it well. The action you get to witness involves tit twisting, bondage, spanking, pussy clamping and bodily suspension. Some of it's pretty vanilla as BDSM goes, but other scenes are pretty intense.

My main complaint is with the 38 galleries. Ranging from 50-200 pictures each, they are lower resolution mostly appearing to be video captures, not still photos. In some shots, you can actually make out lines, as you'd see on a television set getting bad reception. It's worthwhile to spend a bit of extra time on presenting higher quality images, I feel.

Each of the 38 videos is downloadable in 10-12 short clips of Windows Media (320x240, 350kbps). Besides already being annoyed by the multiple short-length files with no full-movie versions, the quality is just average. It's a bit grainy and blurry even at double size and the actual frame size is too small to watch without enlarging it first.

That's it for content period. There are no extras or bonuses, so frankly Master Lens Dungeon causes me more pain than pleasure at this point in time. It has to at least produce more episodes or better yet improve the quality of both its videos and pictures before I think it would warrant more than a curious free peek.
