Pros and Cons
- good-quality videos
- bonus sites
- can post comments
- rotating content
- nonexclusive content
- only vid caps
As a reviewer, I have seen a lot of bondage in my day, so when a site is calling itself Rare Bondage, I am quite intrigued to see what they consider "rare." As it turns out, much of what they consider "rare" is what you can see on other BDSM sites. In fact, the content is nonexclusive, so how rare can it really be if they aren't even producing it themselves?
The content is all taken from a handful of DVDs that make up the "Ivy Manor" series, so you've probably seen it before. However, with that said, I did see some pony play and interesting PVC/BDSM scenes on RareBondage that aren't so typical for most bondage sites. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like they'll be adding more any time soon, despite what the dates might suggest, because they actually rotate their content instead of adding to it.
So what do you end up getting in the end? Well, there are only 15 videos. Yup, that sure isn't much, but at least they give you good-quality playback and files for portable devices. There is also a streaming option through an embedded Flash player. There are no photos, but each scene comes with a set of vid caps.
You will also find a ton of extra vids that are appropriate in theme as well as others that aren't. Like the main content, they come from a bunch of other DVD titles. You also get loads of bonus sites that make up the Mega Site Pass and, like the DVDs, they cover various niches. Exploited EX GF, Mature Women and Teen Girls are just some of the sites you'll see. You will also see thousands of extra pics covering diverse categories.
The bonuses are great if you're not overly preoccupied with finding bondage-related content. You can also find other scenes with some sort of fetish bent, though, like ones focusing on feet and ladies fucking guys with strapons.
Still, it's pretty hard to argue that you'd be getting your money's worth if you're a diehard BDSM fan, even with the extras. Rare Bondage might do as a tied-up teaser, but it's not a long-term pleaser.
