If you know anything about the good folks over at Next Door Studios, you know that they serve up scenes that are so perfect at times they border on sterile. Which had me questioning whether they'd deliver real auditions with inexperienced performers. Especially considering that they're also known for employing a lot of gay-for-pay players.

Sure enough, the interviews have that awkward back and forth that comes from an unrehearsed conversation between strangers. And there are indeed moments when there's some performance anxiety, even if everyone manages to perform well enough in the end. I did notice some comments suggesting a lack of chemistry between the guys, but for me that makes it seem more like the real deal.

When checking out the 36 photo galleries, one of the studs looked familiar. And that was even before he was flat on his back having his asshole filled by Markie More, the site's resident reaming screen tester. It turns out that the stud is Presley Wright, so the castings here mix pros and amateurs .

The site doesn't have enough to hold your attention for very long, but you do get access to the rest of the network. Interestingly, one of the auditions I saw here involved a guy who'd never been with a man before. He was trying out for Next Door Buddies, a hardcore gay site. Actually, any basic search displays some advanced options allowing you to filter by site, category and more.

Updates across the network aren't always a reliable thing and some sites, including this one, which hasn't updated since August 2016, haven't updated in ages. Nevertheless, you can sort the content by date and rating and you can also leave comments and track your favorites. You've also got a playlist for the videos and another where you can add a guy so that all of his scenes are added for you to binge-watch.

Next Door Casting has (mostly) real amateurs trying out for porn, but captured in professional scenes. Ideally, the collection would be bigger or at least still growing, but you're getting a good selection regardless. And, of course, the gay bonuses galore add a ton of value.
