If you're like me, you'll start with the videos. There are over 6,510 movies so far and they tend to offer good-quality playback. Each vid has a write-up and members have added reviews as well. You can rate the scene and post your own feedback. A large percentage are "classic videos," so apparently they sat in a vault for a while before being removed in order to have their formats updated for the Web.
You can search the movies by date, name, rating or haphazardly, like I did. Whichever way you choose, you will be thoroughly entertained and energized by the hardcore action. The videos are offered as Windows Media files and can be downloaded as clips and full-length films. You have the choice between three qualities. You can also download them for mobile devices and watch some fast-loading, but streaming-only, versions.
In the picture section you'll find around 1,434 galleries. You often get vid caps instead, but there are crisp and clear pics too and you can view them in slideshows. Most sets have a combo of both. I like the original movies, they seemed amateur and crude, just the way I like them. Many of the current movies are not amateur at all, just like this Damon guy who shows up in so many of them, he is the guy in your preview vid clip above and the guy who we can see in one of the still photos above. I do like that if you come back after an absence and use the same screen name that your previous favorite list is still there.
Their trial membership is a fraud. They say that you can pay the trial fee and then cancel before being billed for the month, but trying to cancel the trial via their site resulted in errors and support did not respond in time so I was billed for the entire month. There is no e-mail or phone number offered on their website in order to cancel memberships. You can only fill out a "support ticket" which they don't respond to. So basically there is no way to cancel the trial membership before it runs out.
Of course, once I was billed for the whole month their "cancel membership" function on their website mysteriously started working even though it didn't work during the trial period.
BEWARE: NOT A TRUSTWORTHY WEBSITE

after reading the comments im not joining at all. If there is a download limit ?? its 2013 WTF....no really WTF. Sounds like the content is crappy old vids or fake and a handful of good vids you can most likely see free online.
yeah i like this site, not love it.. but it's ok. They do transfer a lot of shit from VHS it seems but i'll spot a newbie every now and then.
This site is not about true amateurs. In fact, as others have noted, the vast majority of the videos (mostly poor in quality) are not of amateurs at all. Am very disappointed at wasting my money.
Next time, when I read these review sites, I am just going to go for a trial run.
Wow some of these reviews are sour grapes. Download limit is set at 12gigs, not 5 gigs, also it can be lifted if you ask. Ive never had a problem but once hitting that limit, i dont need harddrives full of stuff every day.
I have been a member to HGV twice in the past. They have a lot of good content and that's why I wanted to join again. But this time my MC Debt card was declined by all three of their "processors". Then I had a pending charge on my card for the membership fee on my card which remained on the card for days. I contacted HGV support and all they could tell me is that my card was declined and that the hold should drop off MY money in a few days. It took about four days for the hold to be released and no one could tell me why I was declined and why they were able to put a hold on the funds and then decline me. I just tried to sign up again and the same crap happened. I don't understand if my card is good on other sites why not theirs?... And why put a hold on my funds? Either accept my money or reject it....Don't hold onto my money..... Anybody else have this issue or is it just me?
rabbit review is not acurate there is a download limit of 5 gbt many poor quality videos also some very good quality videos anyway this site does not deserve the rating that rabbit give to homegrown videos.

Well to do a review myself i have to say with the amount of content its worth it. Download limits are there but email to support they lift it pretty quickly. The thing with amateur videos are no one wants to see a POV all the time, swingers tape each other, etc. Just cause its POV or stationary camera doesnt make it amateur that comment made me laugh. I have cancelled my membership not because i wanted to but because im broke, at that time i just emailed support and they replied back that it was taken care of less then a hr later. Some of these comments just seem out of wack because i had no such problems they all described and if i did a email to support which was replied quickly was taken care of. I mean a site with 9000 whatever videos and still complaints, crazy
Lot's of videos. However, there are very few, if any, home videos. They seem to me to be VHS movies from the 80's that have been transferred. I would say 99% third party shot, so it's not even a little realistic that these could be home movies. I'm sorry I wasted my money.
Good value for those of us who like the unvarnished act. Quite a bit of variety for the buck and nothing quite like it online. On the downside, the search engine and layout around are weak.
This site is not worth the money: 1) very few real amateur vids, if any at all; 2) very slow download speed - no response from server if you're trying to download several vids at once; I like amateur sites but this is not worth the money.
No tech support works, difficult to find out how to cancel membership. You need to call the 800 number (800-923-9948) in order to cancel, other methods don't work. Site itself is well-presented, easy to use, but limited true amateur content.
I liked the look of this site so went for the 3 day trial.
Everytime I logged in my screen would freeze, I tried to get some support but knowone got back to me so had to cancel, bit of a shame as it did look good
Not a review, either. I'm contemplating joining, but I question the authenticity that this is really amateur porn from the sample clip. In most amateur clips I've seen the camera is either 1) stationary, or 2) held by one of the participants, and not filmed by a 3rd party camera person. I'm not saying that it couldn't happen, but it just doesn't seem "authentic"...also, I'm concerned about the daily download limits some of the reviewers have indentified...what's the deal?

HGV has some ok vids, content is ok, but access is awful.
So we’re clear, if you have good connection, you carefully write down, add up the file sizes of your vids or else you trigger a 48 hours ban. If you don’t measure your downloads as you go, if you hit the limit, then 48 hour bans ensure that… 1) you only see content 1 in 2 days of your sub, 15/30 days of your sub and 2) your download allowance is only a little less than 2.5GB/day.
Some files are smaller but some are as big as 700mb. Does it make sense to have an automatic mechanism to block people to 2.5GB/day or 5GB/day when some files are 0.7GB big??? No. Does it make sense to force subscribers to keep a little notepad handy to write down file sizes as they go??? No.
The content and total magnitude of this site is exceptional. Even with the huge selection of movies to search through, finding what you're looking for is easy. Previews are detailed and the user ratings/comments are a nice touch. The download and stream speeds are also great.
The downside, there most definitely is a download limit (the review should be changed accordingly). You get maxed out at 5GB in a 24 hour period and once you hit the limit, you're done for 48 hours. The good part, with the amount of quality content here and a fast connection, you can max out pretty quickly.
Overall, great site.
I'd give it better score,but... there's a mountain of content, and I reach the download limit each day. I can't stand that download limit blocking my log in sooner or later every day. Ya, I could say some good things about it, but right now I'm just annoyed as heck that I have to keep coming back day after day running into that limit. I have a good connection, and it's bottlenecked at this download limit.
With all the porn that is floating around there couples are using flip cameras like crazy. Yet a lot of the movies are older which I like sometimes. However most of the people in the clips aren't that attractive. Even if there is a really cute woman, she is generally having sex with a hippie or some old dude. Of course I don't look at the guys but when a fat hairy guy is in the picture it kills the whole scene.
The three day trial is enough in fact after a few hours you pretty much find anything worth watching.
A lot of the scenes are boring, I like amateur adult material but not when they don't know what they are doing. However there are some who had it down pat.
It's worth checking out the 3 free day trial but you will prolly kick yourself if you forget to cancel.
i can also confirm 100% they do not have limited trials, you get complete access. That is complete BS that its a limted trial.

I joined the site a number of times over the years. I must say they provide excellent value for money. The fact you can now download content is very impressive. I have delt with their customer service and it is excellent. And the fact they no download limits and always update it is well worth a look. But like the review says, set aside alot of time it will take you a while. And make sure you have a decent internet connection. Some of the files are pretty large. Enjoy
I just signed up for the trial and liked what I
saw. I was gonna use another card for this. but half way through the day the site site went down and I cant get in to anything Homegrown I sent an email to support with no response so I don't know if they billed me for the full membership price today or not and As I stated earlier nothing on homegrown will load I just get an error msg from firefox and IE So I'm wiggin out not knowing if they are just having problems or scamin people locking them out long enough to prevent them from canceling before the time limit is up. witch is pretty bad cause the have great video's and other things that make it worth while.
