Ram Jet Video Review

I wasn't sure what to expect from the site Ram Jet Video and even after checking it out, I'm not entirely sure why they chose that particular sitename. At first I assumed it was based on the name of a production company, but I only found an old DVD from 1996 with Ram Jet as its title produced by a completely unrelated studio. I guess someone just found it sexual.

I mean we've all heard someone refer to a penis as a "pocket rocket," so I guess RamJet could be some kind of euphemism for gay sex. Granted, there are only a limited number of scenes with dudes trying to ram their jets into somebody else's hangar via the backdoor. A lot of the content here simply shows guys masturbating. Not that there's anything wrong with that!

Actually, after checking out a hot hairy dude called Braden jerk off in one of the 29 videos, I get the concept here. The cameraman exchanged just a few words with him, but that brief conversation, along with the write-up, makes it clear that the guy behind the camera tracks down amateur hunks and gets them to spew their spunk on camera.

He then pairs together some of these masturbators to return to shoot a sex scene in what's apparently their first time on camera and that's what kind of sets this site apart for me. Often when you've got this kind of premise, the claim will be that the men are straight guys who've never had gay sex. Here, even if some dudes exude a straight vibe, they seem to be gay or bisexual men who aren't so virginal.

The camerawork isn't too bad, but these are really amateur productions. And the videos have Full HD playback stats, but the footage looks considerably less impressive than that, even if it's decent enough to enjoy when you go with the better the two download options rather than the average-quality one that also streams in the embedded player.

You won't find any photos on this site, but there are some to be found on some of the other CJ XXX. Even so, the sites that seem the most theme-related, like Auntie Bob, Workin Men XXX, Str8 Boyz Seduced and Defiant Boyz, also don't have any images.

The date for each post is missing the month for some unexplained reason. Nevertheless, I can still manage to tell by the somewhat limited info that they've been updating once a week since the beginning of February. When they launched the site back in January, they initially updated on a daily basis.

I should also mention that the navigation is a bit wonky, because you've got to rely on your back button too much. For example, when you check out a video, there's no link to take you back to the videos. In fact, there's no home button so you can't even go back to the homepage. Also, the favorites button does nothing.

I wish they had built up more of a library of content before deciding to slow down on updates, because it will take a bit of time for this collection to reach a more appealing size. In the end, I can't recommend Ram Jet Video until it's a bit bigger, because it just doesn't seem worth the nearly $30 at this point.
