I couldn't for the life of me figure out what a site called Washing Spy could possibly be about, but I sure did feel stupid when I found out! Doh was the first word that came to mind as photos of chicks soaping up in the shower filled the tour pages.
It certainly makes sense that a shower and bath peeping site would be called WashingSpy and admittedly, I was eager to be a voyeur. The members' page is basic with a top-page menu and a listing of spy cam capture thumbnails. You also get access to live chats, pay-per-minute DVDs and an online store. It would be nice if there were some full access bonus sites, but it doesn't look like they'll arrive anytime soon.
At first it seems like there is a lot of content, but there are only 59 regular-res sets in the image gallery. Sometimes the pictures are brightly lit from the available lighting and other times there is a dark, night vision effect (640x480). Most of the shots are slightly blurry and all of them are grabbed from the video. However, there is also a photo gallery with 12 sets and these are much higher quality (up to 1024x768). All together you get 71 sets of photos, which sounds good till you realize that they haven't updated in a long time.
Similarly, there are 59 MPEG-encoded AVI videos with an average of two, five-minute clips each. While they are grainy, this adds to the reality feel of these spycam scenes. Moreover, the quality is great overall. There's also a variety of masking techniques to give the impression of spying including a spy hole, grated vent and window blinds. The spying was completely convincing and nothing seemed staged, which was a particular turn-on.
The image quality was impressive and I must admit that the movies felt like a real voyeuristic experience and each scene seemed to be believable and realistic, which is half the battle for a site like Washing Spy. However, without any updating and no full-access bonuses, the standard fee seems a little high.
