Homegrown GFs Review

Homegrown is synonymous with the world of true amateur porn. For over 20 years they have been taking homemade porn submissions and making them available to the world, first via VHS tapes and now on the Internet.

What they have also started doing over the last while is creating smaller sites with a focus on various niches and today I want to talk about Homegrown GFs. Now, while the other niche sites seemed to be more focused, GFs seems rather vague and I am not sure how they determine which scenes to count. I mean, aside from a homosexual scene, wouldn't any video fit the bill?

Regardless of technicalities, all I can do is tell you what the site has and at this point the answer to that question is 559 videos. You will also find screen caps in the separate photo section, which makes sense given that these are amateur submitted movies .

Other issues involve missing category thumbnails on the page that lets you filter the site's content by theme, like anal , creampie, handjob, etc. The layout also uses a ton of whitespace and there are numerous ads for live cams (that cost extra) scattered about the site.

Now, while much of the content is filmed-at-home fun, there are mostly amateur porn scenes that are a bit more formal. In fact, I noticed a pornstar or two in my meanderings through the site. However, from what I have been told, any pornstar scenes were filmed before the girls were stars - and that does match with how new to the biz the ones I saw appeared to be.

The movies all come with both streaming and download options. You can stream them in three sizes of Flash files through an embedded player. There are also three sizes of Windows Media files and an average-quality MP4 option. The largest WMV download is usually good in quality. Even when the bit rates were average, I found that the vids still looked good.

There are dates on each scene, but they are the dates the scene was uploaded to the Homegrown network and not when they were added to this site specifically. With that in mind, I can't tell you how often they are updating at this point, but I know that they must be adding new material pretty frequently since the amount has risen substantially since our last visit.
