Pros and Cons
- low-end per-minute price
- mobile friendly interface
- cam2cam option
- most cams are average in quality
- no session timer
- limited features
Super Men has been around since 1997 and their slogan used to be: "The ultimate gay experience." I am going to assume they meant besides sucking cock or having one pumping hard and deep up your ass - to me those sound a little more "ultimate." Regardless, that tagline is no longer used. I don't know why they removed it, but they have done a full redesign since we were last here and maybe it just didn't fit the new look, which I must say is much better than the old one.
Not only does SuperMen look different, but what used to be more of a large photo and video site is now a live cam site where you can chat up and watch dudes drop their drawers (and do many other things you might want to see). This became obvious when I signed in and saw right there in front of me a number of dudes who were currently online.
I checked out a few in the "free chat" and when I found one I particularly liked I headed on in to the private chatroom and that's when things got good - if you consider good to be a hunky dude working his rod till his chest is covered with a load of his own sticky man milk. I didn't ask for anything too kinky, but some of the guys would have definitely been up for most things I requested. With that being said let's discuss the other important factors when choosing a live cam site.
First off is the cam quality and on that front, from what I saw, the quality of the cams was mostly average, but there were some good ones, too. The motion was fluid on almost all the ones I checked out, which is good, but the image itself wasn't always the best. And, yes, there are cams marked HD, but they didn't look any better and in a few cases they actually looked worse.
The second thing you'll want to know is the price. You need to buy credits to take a dude private and it costs $1/credit. With that in mind I found guys asking for 1.98 credits/minute, which means $1.98/minute. I saw a few guys charging more and some charging less, but $1.98 was by far the majority.
To find a performer to talk to you can browse the pages of online guys or filter by various features and you can also see the online performers broken up by category and click through to them that way. When talking to them you can adjust the size of the window and use cam2cam (but only in the private chat).
You can also rate the performers, leave comments and get notifications sent to you when a specific performer is online. There's an advanced search but the messed up thing is that it brings up straight search results. This is a sister site of Sexier.com and they need to fix it so that the search is limited to the gay part of the database!
Besides the live cam part of the site, there is also a video-on-demand area where you will find hundreds of hot gay movies, from solo strokejobs to hot man-on-man-on-man-on-man orgies. These movies will cost you 3 credits each ($3) and from the time you purchase them you will have access to them for one hour. I must also mention that the site is accessible through any mobile device, including iPhones/iPads.
The guys I cammed with were sexy and very attentive, but I found many cams to be too low in quality. At least the per-minute charge is on the low side and should you want to check it out you can do so without spending a dime until you find someone you want to go private with.
