The "J" in J Cosplay stands for Japanese and the "cos" stands for costume. Put that together and you're looking at a site that focuses on Japanese costume play. While you might be used to seeing softcore content associated with cosplay , here that's not the case. In these scenes, some or all of the costumes come off and these Japanese girls are given the hardcore treatment.

What Are You Getting?

From hentai  to manga characters, students, and bunnies, there's a good variety of costumes on JCosplay. Sometimes a scene has some sort of storyline, but I don't speak Japanese, so I can't be entirely sure. You can watch 459 videos so far - or around 100 DVDs. One of the scenes that caught my eye is "Sweet Asian Babe Orihara Honoka Gets Creampied." The video starts with the star, hair dyed purple and wearing Sailor Moon cosplay, showing off her massive tits. What Works?

Sorting through the hundreds of videos on J Cosplay is made simple with the tags and categories. The categories even list the number of videos in each. The basic search is, well, basic, and you have to use very specific terms. The movies include rating, leaving comments, and marking them as favorites.

The layout of the site is clean. On the homepage, you'll see a list of videos that are trending. When you click through to a video, a drop-down menu lets you select the quality. The screencaps appear there too, so you can easily preview the content.

As with most of the sites in this network, there is a model index that theoretically lists some basic stats (including blood type!) for each girl. However, the information is only rarely filled out, which is really too bad because it's sometimes more interesting to read about pornstars from different countries compared to your own. Maybe more exotic?

What Doesn't Work?

First, the number of videos continues to drop. We last visited the site in 2017 and on that update, we also saw less content. Obviously, the collection increases, too, at some point. This is despite "daily" updates. So it's clearly being recycled and you're not really getting any new content. On top of that, the video quality is at best SD. It's off by just a bit at 720x408. No HD videos in 2023? They could at least reformat them.

Not only is the search engine not advanced but also I got a 404 error every time I made a query. They should fix that. They should also fix the site's mobile responsiveness, which is nonexistent. You'll have to pinch-to-zoom everything if you want to check it out on your phone. 

I mentioned earlier that they only speak Japanese in the scenes so you know the girls are authentic, but when Japanese porn is authentic it also means censorship. Expect mostly pixelated genitals and anything that comes into contact with them. But many fans of Japanese porn enjoy that kind of thing. It is kind of kinky when you think of it.

Do I Recommend It?

While blurry naughty bits are disappointing (granted, that's the standard for any genuine Japanese porn site), as is the lack of high-definition videos and a mobile interface, J Cosplay does have some things going for it.
