Foul Fowl Review

The irony of the "reality" porn genre is that most of it is anything but real. Well, yeah, the fucking is real, but the drive-by-street-pick-up is all a big setup. However, over the last few years I have started to come across a type of site that to me is what the term "reality porn" should be used for. Foul Fowl is one such site. I like to call it docu-porn.

The man behind FoulFowl is JohnJuan and for him it all began back in 2001 when he decided to take pictures of hookers and put them in a book with a write-up of his experiences with the chicks. This obviously grew and developed into the site we have here, but the goal of photographing and filming and fucking prostitutes is still the heart of what he does.

To be honest, the only complaint I have about the site is the design. It looks like it was designed in 2001. The videos and photos could both be found in their own sections at one point, but that's no longer the case. These days, almost everything is on the homepage and you have to do a whole lot of scrolling to see it all. There are links to additional content waiting for you at the very bottom of the homepage.

Every video and photo gallery is represented by a thumbnail image. Clicking on one of these images takes you to a page where you can read a bit about the woman in the content and also check out the material. Due to the way it's presented, counting the content is no easy task. It looks to me like there are something like 332 movies and about 335 photo sets, but be aware that I could be off by a bit.

You can't stream the vids, but you can download them. Many are available as Windows Media files and there are some MP4s and MPEGs to be had as well. Quality varies, though it seems there are many flicks that offer HD playback. That said, the movies don't usually look as good as you'd expect them to given their bit rates. As for the pictures, they're generally pretty clear. Some sets bring you as few as two images, while others can bring you as many as 30.

What will draw you to this site is the realness of it all. You are taken into the streets and the backseats with JohnJuan. Also, his write-ups are in-depth and interesting and he keeps everyone informed as to what is going on in his life and his thoughts about the site and people around him. The women aren't actors – and many of them are really not very attractive either.

A better-looking site is needed, but besides that Foul Fowl will certainly please anyone looking for the docu-porn style and content that the site is providing. Updates often come once a week, but the update schedule isn't exactly set in stone.
