Ginger Lynn Review

As for the GingerLynn website, it doesn’t come close to living up to the greatness of its namesake. However, it isn't as bad as some of the other official pornstar sites I have had the "pleasure" of reviewing over the years. Let us start off on a good note and discuss the amount of content available.

There are 73 videos and 181 photo sets. The content covers much of this legend's career from her stardom in the '80s to her little comeback in '99. There are scenes from movies she starred in and photo sets taken from her many magazine shoots and even what appear to be vacation and candid pics.

The quality of the content leaves much to be desired. The pics look average overall and many are faded or small, like they had possibly just been scanned from magazines. As for the videos, most of the movies are downloadable in very poor-quality Windows Media format (although some look slightly better than the bit rate would suggest), while some come in an awful-looking RealPlayer format. Either way it isn’t impressive and is actually quite disappointing.

What else is disappointing is the fact that the site isn't updating. From what I can tell, it has been at least four years since they added anything. For some parts, like the video diary, it has been even longer (there are five very short, mediocre entries).

I would like to tell you that you at least get some bonus sites, but that isn't the case. The only extras you get are links to some cam sites, VOD sites and, of course, places to make movie purchases.

With the amount of content available you are getting a good look at Ginger Lynn and what she did to make herself such a huge pornstar in the '80s. However, I would really like to see better-quality videos and some updating, it would make this site worthy of the superstar for which it is named.
