Erotica Vintage Review

If there was one word to describe Erotica Vintage it would have to be interesting. If another was needed, it would probably be varied. This site pulls its unique, though obviously nonexclusive content, from many different sources and eras.

On EroticaVintage, you get glamour and nude shots, hardcore and Sapphic as well as bizarre and fetish material. You can choose between pre-1900 material, 1900-1920, 1920-1940 or 1940-1960. You can search the content by photographer or designer. There's also a collection of erotic postcards, a section devoted specifically to Bettie Page, a gay collection and an archive of erotic art sorted by artist.

There are 15 videos and 104 picture galleries with varying amounts of images in each. The site updates daily and while a new video will show up once in a while, it's generally photo content that's being added on a regular basis.

While this is largely a photo-driven site for obvious reasons, some of the videos available are average-quality MPEG downloads and others are poorer quality, but the site does warn you that, sadly, this is the case. The photos are nice looking, though not high resolution, and while there is a slideshow option, there are no Zip sets.

There are no bonus sites included but given the rate of updates and the amount of photo sets currently available, the pricing is very reasonable at the monthly rate and quite good if you join up for a full year.

While it isn't the nicest site to look at graphically, it is functional, even though the organization could be a little clearer. It has an interactive feature where members are invited to submit their feedback and suggestions. It does act on some of the ideas submitted and credits the person who had the idea if the site decides to add the content they suggested.

Erotica Vintage is a well-thought-out site that offers some very interesting content. If you're a vintage erotica aficionado or just have a passing interest, there should be enough material here to keep you interested. Considering the price and the fact that new stuff is being added every day, this site is worthwhile.
