Comics Database Review

Comics Database is one of the biggest archives of adult comics that I've ever seen. It's also one of the best I've ever seen. The quality of the stories is quite impressive. There are loads of different genres represented, from the purely humoristic to the stylistic to the semi-realistic. They seem to be the creations of real artists, not just mediocre, badly drawn jokes. That is indeed a rarity in this porn niche.

ComicsDatabase has 744 comics and most are 10 to 50 pages long. A good number of them come with high-res images and many have that true comic feel with frame-by-frame dialogue and action. Others have more of a graphic-novel format with third-person narration recounting the tale. Several series are captured in multiple issues, so you can enjoy character development as the story continues. You can download each comic in a Zip file and there are even PDF versions to check out.

You can browse or search the comics. However, as many have unique titles rather than being cataloged by genre, it's hard to pin down the right results unless you are already slightly versed in some of the characters' names. You can also see the last ones you visited, the most popular choices among members and the most recent updates. As is common with many comic sites, there aren't any videos.

You can keep a list of your favorites for quick reference. I have my own list of some that stand out the most. I like "Huerta Pinups" with its mix of retro -inspired Bettie Page pics and completely contemporary take on the genre. For example, you will see ladies dressed in fetish gear with a futuristic edge. You can even see toon babes in glamorous poses.

I also like the sci-fi fantasy of the "Naked Earth" series. The drawings look almost 3D and the story fills 27 sets. The women only wear something on their shoulders along with thigh-high boots, but expose their breasts and pussies.

The site makes it look like it updates often, but what it's really doing is rotating its content. At least having a membership gives you access to a number of bonus sites, including Manga Database, Hentai Cinema and Flash Games For Adults. Comics Database doesn't always have something new, but its grand amount of artistic content makes it worth considering.
