I Shoot My Girl Review

The name of the site is unfortunate and I can only reason that it is an unwitting mistake by a couple for whom English isn't their first language. I Shoot My Girl is referring to the made-at-home nature of the porn on the site, but it does have some nefarious, albeit unintentional, connotations as well.

Andrew and Tanya are in their early 20s and they have been together for over a year. Awhile back, they tried filming themselves having sex and fell in love with homemade porn. Now they film their sex life for their site, IShootMyGirl, so everyone can watch. Fans of true amateur porn will appreciate the genuineness of the couple and the fact that these are two people in love and not just actors. Fans of well-filmed porn will not be as happy. The content is filmed by the two lovers, so that means a lot of tripod single shots and hand-held POV action.

Normally, I am a fan of POV. However, Andrew is not great at doing two things at once - in this case, filming and fucking. The sharpness of the image tends to go in and out as the camera attempts to focus on the action. Also, there is a lot of jerkiness as they move around and position themselves during the scene. This does, however, add to the genuine nature of amateur porn.

There are 35 videos and each one can be downloaded in parts. Full-length downloads are offered as well. The vids come in Windows Media format and the flicks offer good-quality playback, although the lighting isn't always the best. Each movie comes with a set of vid caps, but for good photos, there is a section with 17 sets of high-res pics.

Despite appearances to the contrary, the site has stopped growing. Rather than getting fresh content, you get the same old smut with new dates.
