Pros and Cons
- low per-minute prices
- 100+ performers online
- good design and navigation
- no free chat
- mostly SD cams
- some performers don't speak English
Nothing about the Live Strip sitename indicates it, but this is a German cam site. I figured this part out real quick after I landed on the site and saw little German flags under almost every performer's preview thumbnail and saw random German text even though the selected language of the site was English.
To continue on that point for a second, with English selected, the majority of the text was in English and I had no issues understanding the site, buttons, etc. However, there are some random parts of the site that they obviously forgot to program into the translation protocol so there were a few times when the text was in German and I had to take an extra second or two to guess what I was supposed to do.
It wasn't a big deal, though. For me, where the language did become an issue was with talking to some of the performers. You see, they all have country flags under their thumbs that indicate what languages they speak/understand. However, while some with British flags had no problem talking to me in English, others seemed much more comfortable in German and it took longer to get them to understand what I was asking them to do (some never seemed to understand what I was saying). But how did I get to that point, you ask?
Well, the site is set up like many other live cam sites with preview images of all the performers on the site and online at that moment (over 150 each time I visited). I was able to easily scroll through the images and pick a babe to check out further. On that preview image you'll also see an indication as to whether or not they have sound, HD quality and/or a dildo that you can control. Yes, that means some girls don't have sound with their cams and not all of them are in HD. In fact, most of the cams aren't HD. Now, some of the SD ones actually looked pretty good, but that obviously isn't an ideal situation, especially these days when HD should really be standard!
Something else that's standard on most cam sites, but not LiveStrip, is free chat. How it works here is that if you click on a performer's image you're taken to her page where you can see her profile as well as any videos she's made and the option to check her out live with "sexchat" or "voyeur." Most live cam sites let you do some free non-nude chatting before deciding to pay for the sex chat fun, but not here. That's the bad news. The good news is that the price is good.
All of the performers I clicked on were only asking 1 or 2 credits per minute and depending on what package you purchase, a credit is at most equal to 1 euro (it can be less if you buy bigger packages), so at only $2/minute or so, or even $1/minute for some, those are good numbers.
Some other things to mention both good and bad. The site has some filters, a category drop-down menu and the ability to be notified via SMS when a performer is online. But there's no advanced search, which is something I really like to see on cam sites. Also, the site is mobile-friendly and the experience on my device was pretty good.
Overall, I had a really good time with some of these hot and willing German cam babes, but I would've appreciated a free chat option so I didn't have to spend credits just to see if a performer was who I wanted and had a good enough cam. But at least the price point is such that my time with the performers wasn't breaking the bank. It's worth checking out, but maybe be a little more selective with whom you decide to chat live with.
