Usually, any originality I see (on the rare occasion that I see any originality) is with the content on a site and not the presentation of said content. Well, Spin Ups brings us the latter.

SpinUps are pin-up chicks you can spin. What does that mean? Well, think of a photo that you can move around with the simple click of your mouse. So, instead of seeing just one view of a chick or having to go from picture to picture to see other views, here you just spin her around.

The site was started by a beautiful babe named Brooklyn, an exotic dancer at the world-famous Surfer's Paradise club in Australia. She wanted to do more than just another pic site and this is what she came up with.

In total there are eight babes on the site (all from the Surfer's Paradise) and each has multiple spin images for a total of 150. Each spin image, or "spimage" as I like to call them, features the babe (or sometimes two together) in some sexy outfit. They add new images every week or two, on average.

Load up the average-looking image and then by simply dragging the mouse over the picture you can spin it around and check her out from all angles. Often the chick even moves a little within the image as you spin her (opens her shirt, shakes her hair, etc). You can also zoom in and out if you want to get a little closer.

The problem with the zoom function is that it doesn't allow you to move within the frame when you are zoomed in. So if you wanted to get a better look at her tits, but full zoom moves in on her stomach, there is no way to scroll up to the boobs. Also, the zooming in does tend to pixel the image and deteriorate the quality the closer you get.

I have to admit that at first it was fun and I liked the concept, but once you've played with a few images there isn't much to it. Also, the pics are all softcore – only some are topless – so spinning and zooming in on simple softcore images might get old.

The good news is that the price tag is nice and cheap, so it isn't going to cost you much to check it out. Basically, I think the best way to think of it is as a softcore pin-up picture site with the added ability to spin the images. If that strikes your fancy then Spin Ups is worth checking out.
