Those who know Twistys know that they have been in the porn business for a while and that you are going to get hot babes showing themselves off and playing with themselves. This sounds like great content to take with you, right? Well, is Twistys Mobile the way to do it? The answer ends up being like my FB relationship status: "It's complicated!"

When you see that I'm about to talk about TwistysMobile then you're probably going to make one very logical assumption. It's a mobile site and therefore all of its videos should work on mobiles and other portable devices with Internet access. Unfortunately, that simply isn't the case here, which is a black mark against it before I've had a chance to even say what is worthwhile about it.

I will say that the babes are gorgeous and their solo masturbation filled with fingering and toy play is pure pleasure for anyone watching. I can say the same of the lesbian and hardcore scenes, although that almost goes without saying. At any rate, the lighting is good and the camerawork allows for a real appreciation of the beautiful bodies on display. These guys produce slick content, so I can't fault them on that count.

There are over 5,702 videos and 15,529 photo sets updated daily, so clearly the amount of content isn't an issue. If you were to watch it all you would definitely need a few recharges (for you and your phone). However, remember that you can't watch it all on your phone even if you wanted to and what complicates things more is that the flicks that will work require some trial and error while hunting around.

Clearly the Windows Media format you'll find isn't going to work on many devices and it doesn't work on the Android device I used as secondary testing device. In fact, none of the files, whether I went with QuickTime, MPEG or M4V (these are like MP4s) worked on it. When I tried on the iPod Touch, although the WMVs didn't work, any M4V I tried worked. However, with a MOV or MPEG, it was hit or miss.

As far as playback goes, it gets a bit complicated, because the latest updates tend to look great on a mobile device. However, realistically that's fewer than half the scenes and it doesn't seem fair to give too much praise to a mobile site that has so many vids that will only work on your PC, so expect mostly average-looking playback.

One thing needing mentioning is the interface, because it's a bit of a mixed blessing. I'll start with the good things, namely that you can rate the content and leave comments. Many sites don't have those options, but I do wish that you could save your favorites. I also wish navigation was more efficient. You'll see links to five pages at a time at the bottom of your screen, but that really only allows you to skip ahead by a few in one shot. It is slow-going to reach the end of the over 135 pages of videos.

You can get the videos that aren't working to function on your computer and even download them. However, if you have to sit at home to see some of this site's vids then that kind of defeats the purpose of joining and, besides, with your membership you can access the non-mobile Twistys, which works better on your PC. In the end, Twistys Mobile needs to improve their navigation and make all their vids portable ready.
