Visit Girl Next Door

Just seeing the name of this website in my list of reviews to write, I had some pretty intense ideas about what to expect from Girl Next Door. When I saw the homepage and the gorgeous little brunette smiling back at me, I thought I was in for one hell of a trip. Then I logged in and saw that gone was that little cutie I just mentioned and what takes her place is a ton of material that features some admittedly hot babes, many of whom aren't teens.

There is one of two ways you can go about finding the material you want on this site, but whether you look by model or content, pretty much all you can expect to find are dated centerfolds from magazines past. Now there was never a print magazine called GirlNextDoor. Instead, these shoots come from a contest held of every year by Gallery Magazine.

As a result we can't consider user-submitted content to be exclusive, although some contest winners do appear in spreads exclusively shot for the mag. In the last month or so, these have been intermixed with glamour shots of amateur pornstars (and famous ones too, but taken from their newbie days). Because this is entirely a photo site, there are no movies found at all and it is doubtful that this will change any time soon.

Regarding the pictures, you might be getting 1,320 photo sets, but in most instances, the images are only medium-res or even smaller. You can download them in Zip files or see them in hands-free slideshows. You'll notice a "view large photos" link at the top of each photo gallery. If you click on it, no resolution changes happen except for the occasional gallery here and there. It's usually a safe bet that a pornstar set is one with high-res pics in it.

On our last visit, it had been over four months since anything was added. Now you can see a new gallery being added every week. However, I did notice that a bunch of older sets were missing, so despite new content being added on a more frequent basis, there is actually less material available now than there was eight months ago.

There are 18 video feeds and trailers of hardcore flicks to stream. You can also check out 12 bonus sites, including Leg Action, Genesis Magazine, Fox Magazine and Gent Online. These sites are also available by purchasing a Swank Pass membership and they do bring you some worthwhile vids to download. Girl Next Door might be of great value to collectors of nostalgic nudie shots.
