Visit Girl Next Door

Just seeing the name of this website in my list of reviews to write, I had some pretty intense ideas about what to expect from Girl Next Door. When I saw the tour and the gorgeous brunette smiling back at me, I thought I was in for one hell of a trip. Then I logged in and saw that gone was that cutie I just mentioned and what took her place was a ton of material that features some admittedly hot babes, but many of whom aren't teens.

There is one of two ways you can go about finding the material you want on this site, but whether you look by model or content, you can mostly expect to find dated centerfolds from magazines past. There was never a print magazine called GirlNextDoor. Instead, the material comes from a contest held every year by Gallery Magazine.

As a result we can't consider user-submitted content to be exclusive, although some winners do appear in spreads exclusively shot for the mag. The website has also mixed its photos with glamour shots of amateur pornstars (and famous ones, too, but taken from their newbie days).

This is mostly a site devoted to pictures, but it also has two videos that you can stream online and download. One shows a young couple fucking and the other promotes the Fame Awards. The first can be enjoyed in a series of clips and also saved as a full-length download that comes in a couple of good-quality formats. You can only download the second movie in an average-quality Windows Media file.

Regarding the pictures, you might be getting 1,370 photo sets, but in most instances, the images really aren't that big. That said, there are some high-res images to be had. It's usually a safe bet that a pornstar set is one with the better quality pics in it. You can download the sets in Zip files and view them in hands-free slideshows.

There hasn't been a video added to the website since February 2012 and it last posted a set of pictures in October of that same year. There's no telling if there's new content on the way, but things don't look too good on that front.

Thankfully, there are some extras available, including bonus sites from the Swank Pass network, like Leg Action, Genesis Magazine, Fox Magazine, Gent Online and 11 others. There are also video feeds and movie trailers to keep busy with.

Though it isn't growing at the moment, Girl Next Door might be of great value to collectors of nostalgic nudie shots. Keep in mind, though, that its pics aren't always huge and not everything on the site is exclusive.
