Visit Alternadudes

Alternadudes is a real breath of fresh air for me. I get so tired of seeing the typical gay clones, those hairless nubile guys who look as if they could be molded from plastic, but here you get punks, skaters, rockers and other amateur guys with an alternative flair in what they wear and they way they live. I appreciate that all orientations (straight, gay and bi) are represented.

Alternadudes has 261 videos and is updated weekly. You can find them under "scenes" as well as by browsing the "dudes" section. They come in Windows Media format and MP4s, the best of which delivers high-def playback for the most part while smaller-sized files are offered for portable devices. You can also stream them in an embedded Flash player.

Sometimes in addition to a full-length version, you get an edited "music video" version that has a good, hard beat with lots of heavy guitar and they do all kinds of visual tricks with the footage. It might sound a bit cheesy at first, but when you see these hot alt dudes getting nude to jerk off or suck and fuck, it makes sense to have a soundtrack to keep pace with your throbbing libido. They've also added interview footage in some cases.

There are 154 photo sets that often have big high-res images. Just keep in mind that you need to click somewhere on the pic when it's displayed in the embedded slideshow to see the full-sized photo. You can also download the sets in Zip files. Some pictures are crisper than others, but that's an issue of lighting and sometimes they've been altered for a more artistic effect. A couple of sets only have vid caps.

I honestly could fall in love with any one of these guys, so the more I can see of each one, the happier I am. Many of them have long hair, tattoos and piercings. Some of them have an emo look, so they sport dark eye makeup. One even wears "demon" contact lenses. I also appreciate that while many are young, there are a few mature ones too.

You can save your favorites and leave comments. There's a tag cloud posted below each video that makes finding similar scenes based on shared themes easy. Rating content can be done by giving either a thumb up or a thumb down and you can sort the content based on these ratings as well as popularity (based on number of visitors to a page), posting date and scene name. You won't find an advanced search, though.
