When I sat down to review Pocket Erotica, I wondered if I was about to take a look at my first pocket fetish site. As it turns out I wasn't and instead I found myself looking at a website designed to offer its members porn that they can upload to their cell phones, iPods and other portable devices.
I should start off by stating that PocketErotica isn't a pretty website. Some of the menus there look very pixilated, so I assume the site was primarily designed to be viewed on portable devices rather than on home computers.
The site features both photos and videos, but the vids make up the bulk of the content. They're spread out over multiple categories and many of the flicks appear in more than one of the categories, so counting the exact amount of movies is no easy task. I'd say there are at least 200 separate films though. They can be streamed or downloaded and they come in two formats: one compatible with cell phones and another designed for use with iPods, PSPs and PDAs. Regardless of the format you choose, the quality of the videos is mediocre, but the iPod ones look better than the cell phone vids.
There are 26 photo galleries on the site and, for the most part, they're mediocre as well. Several of the sets even look to contain vid caps instead of actual photos, but the pictures are so tiny that it’s tough to tell. I did find some high-res pictures though, so not all the galleries are garbage. None of the pictorials can be saved as a Zip set, so even if you do find one you like, you won't be able to download any of the galleries in one fell swoop.
The stuff you'll see on the site is pretty varied as several niches are covered. There's all sorts of hardcore action, lesbian loving, some interracial fun, group sex, double penetration and more.
Joining the website doesn't provide you with any extras or bonuses, but that shouldn't be too surprising since the membership fee is pretty low. Although you can't purchase a monthly membership straight up, the three-day trial price recurs at less than 10 bucks a month and that's a pretty good deal for a porn site.
While there's a decent amount of content and a good amount of variety, the quality of the material leaves a lot to be desired. Normally, I wouldn't recommend a site like this, but its low-end membership fee might make it tempting for some of you.
