The key word in iPhoneDigitalPlayground is 'iPhone'. If you don't have one, then don't bother with this site. Because besides signing up for a membership, which you can do on your home computer, everything else must be done on the iPhone.

I learnt that first hand when I signed into the site on my computer and found blank drop-down menus and no videos to watch. So, I barrowed my co-workers iPhone and checked it out properly.

The site has a very simple design, which works well for the iPhone screen. At the top of the page are a couple menu button and then the content is spread out among 15 pages of DVD box cover images. Just touch the image of the movie you want to watch and you are taken to another page where you can read a short synopsis of the film and watch the movie.

There are 172 videos available and they average a good hour long with all the scenes and storylines therein. Every video I checked out also had a 'watch trailer' option and many even had a 'behind the scenes' option to view as well.

A few of the movies didn't play for me, but I assume that is just how mobile iPhone internet goes sometimes. Overall though, I had no problems and things were pretty smooth. The videos looked average and turning the iPhone horizontal to watch them full-screen is definitely the way to go.

There are no bonus sites available as you probably guessed, but with the 172 full DVDs iPhone Digital Playground does give you lots to check out. Also, the price tag is good, although for a site that is iPhone only, I would have liked it to be even a little cheaper.
