Photorotic is one of those sites that is hard to review. It focuses as much on the artistry of taking photographs as it does on the erotic qualities of the gorgeous models so, while perhaps not all porn aficionados will find this site to their taste, some people that aren't usually turned on by porn might well find their desires piqued by the erotic content.

Photorotic bills itself as providing 'artistic eroticism,' but it also calls itself 'the world's most erotic art site.' It straddles the fence between artistic erotica and erotic art. To many people, these distinctions amount only to hair-spitting, to others it may be important.

Regardless of how you classify this site, you will have your breath taken away by the gorgeous and talented models who pose alluringly in solo shoots or in steamy lesbian pictorials. Each set offers both arousing imagery as well as nuanced aesthetic arrangements that combine to create erotically-charged pieces.

Everything about this site is tastefully done. Navigation is simple and the design is excellent. The design is consistent with the art-photography theme. The photos, while downloadable, are all presented in elegant flash galleries that provide thumbnails and can be scrolled through with the mouse wheel.

There are no videos on this site, as the focus is on the beauty of professional, artistic, still photography. Each gallery has an average of 28 photos. Most of the photos are great-quality (1600x1067). Some pictures aren't quite as good, but even these are good-looking, high-res images.

The only drawback of the site is the fact that there is very little content. The roughly 24 exclusive picture galleries are really all you get out of your membership. Updates will be critical to the future of this site. New content seems to arrive weekly, but with no dates associated with the galleries, it is hard to be sure how quickly the site is growing.

One would hope for some bonus content to add some value to the membership, but, sadly, there is none to be found. The site, in spite of its great visual design, doesn't really offer any bonus sites. However, it does offer about six or more artistic / photoshop reworkings of some of the sets.

There are some beautiful women captured in all their erotic glory in great-looking and tasteful photography at Photorotica. The content is so good that I wish I would give this site a wholehearted recommendation. However, given the small amount of main content and the lack of bonus material, I have to say this site needs more content before it will be worthwhile.
