Naughty Art is certainly not a toon site. It actually has a small collection of erotic paintings, as well as larger section of erotic photographs of models. I haven't seen such an unusual combination as this one before. The navigation gets a bit confusing, as in many instances the forward and back buttons only move through what's on the center of the screen, which may only be a sampling of the total amount of content available.
For example, there are 36 galleries, one of which holds the latest paintings and the other 35 show the real-life models in mostly photos, not paintings. To be honest, some of the stuff looks a bit cheesy. You can imagine some of these images hanging in a red velour-lined bordello somewhere. The paintings are cool, as the artist does have talent, but the staging of some of the pics is slightly over-the-top. However, what do I know for art? Nevertheless, the models are definitely appealing.
The 43 movies can be downloaded or streamed in Windows Media format with average-quality playback, as well as in mediocre QuickTime files meant to be compatible with your iPod. Most of the videos only last around 10 minutes in length, although they do advertise that a full-length feature is headed your way soon. You'll get to see some behind-the-scenes vids, such as time-lapse filming of the artist doing his painting, as well as some role-playing scenarios.
It is unclear how often the site updates, but I do believe that it is most likely on a weekly basis. Some extra sections are included, such as one showing the artist's early works and bio, as well as an area describing some of the art techniques used to create the paintings. The membership is less than many other websites charge. I think the true value of Naughty Art is its creative take on erotic images, I found the site entertaining as well as stimulating.
