Did you know there were awards called the Erotic Oscars? Well, I didn't. However, in 2001 Petter Hegre won the award for Photographer of the Year and his website Hegre Art is a wonderful archive of his work. In fact, it is a truly unique exploration of sensuality and the erotic.
HegreArt is a big website with lots of different things to browse through, so let me break it down for you. The movie section is nicely set up and the quality of the films is very good. The newest movies can all be downloaded in either HD Windows Media files or excellent-looking QuickTime formats and many of them have a DivX-formatted AVI and MP4 files, as well.
This site is about erotica and sensuality. There is no hardcore fucking or money shots. In fact, I don't think I saw a penis at all, except for my own. (Hey, the gals are hot, what do you expect?) However, these are not all just glamour shots and films. There are some nice pussy shots, some toys and lots of nudity. Think Playboy and Penthouse, rather than Hustler and Swank. In all, there are more than 388 videos.
There are over 2,770 photo shoots available to members. The photo updates page is beautifully set up, with nice magazine cover-style thumbnails with women on them. Just pick a month from the last five years and you will see every photo shoot posted for that month. Each set has about 20 to 60 pictures that you can browse through or you can download the set in a Zip file. Photos are available in four or five different resolution options and they all look incredible.
I told you this was a big site and I wasn't joking. Besides the pics and videos, there are photo forums where members send in their own photos of themselves and their partners. There is a literature section with some nice erotic stories and you can even submit your own if you want.
There is also a travel reports section filled with Hegre's stories about his voyages and experiences searching for and photographing gorgeous babes all around the world. There is a small section with wallpaper you can download and another with e-cards you can send to friends.
Those of you looking for quality, sensuality, erotica and class have found it right here at Hegre Art and with daily updates, you will just keep getting more of what you want. With so many fine babes coming in so frequently, you'd be hard-pressed to find a better deal.

I renewed an annual membership and with your membership to the site you automatically have access to the livecams site. My livecams part of the site doesn't work, I have filled out multiple support tickets and they claim they will get back to you in 24 hours - well nobody has ever gotten back to me, in months. I will never join this site again - it is crap and if you have an issue there clearly is no support. They don't give a shit about their clients. DON'T JOIN hegre-art
I write this because I was a paying member (1 year 199,- Euro). PRO: A lot of wonderful models with unbelievable bodies. Good looking website with nice navigation. Constand updates. CON: The pictures are all the same. Just take a Hasselblad, some backgrounds and softbox-settings and a model: *blub* you got Hegre-Art-pictures too. But I was not interested in photos so I will tell you the worst thing about Hegre: the video-quality was horrible! Compression artifacts and pixels (seen in the latest updates!), bad resolution and graininess. The offered 1080p resolution was a big joke (excluding the massage-videos, but that was also not the 1080p-quality you might expect). Hey, we are in 2011 and in that point other sites do this much, much better! So DON'T waste your money if you expect good video-quality. Sorry, but I was very disappointed. AND, they don't answer support questions.
I rejoined after about 4 years and see a big difference: better quality all around. Their new niche is massage videos of all kinds - tantric, lingham, and various exotic types. Several have couples but only one, so far, ends with a male orgasm. Great for couples learning massage. Pics are getting better but the poses are still repetitious and a little too artsy or contrived for me. I don't like all the props - especially food. Let's completely obscure the model with jelly beans, cake, and whip cream. But overall, this site is right up there with Met-Art and X-Art for quality. Downloads are fast but I got bumped off with a server reset one time, and had to relogin another.
Simply perfect. Day by day the quality of the photos increases. Now he's shooting 80Mpixels so that even a full body image can be looked at as if it was a close-up shot. The light, the girls, the models... any of this girls could be high-end fashion models if they wanted to. As many of the best websites of today, this is not porn, it's sexual beauty at it's highest expression. If only there was a hardcore website with this quality...
Great site of some good-looking models, but I prefer Met-Art. Great HRES sets and videos too. The sets seemed to resemble each other with no variety of the photo shoots. The sets a quiet a lot of pictures to them. Met-Art has better looking models and more of a variety to the sets.

Oh, the redundancy!! The photos don't vary enough in pose. A whole set will show the model in a prone pose with only slight variation in movement. It's like they encourage the most subtle difference in pose to up the photo count. Trying to be entertained by this is exhausting. A total waste of fine women.
No customer service, I signed up and was traveling, I accessed the site from a different location and my account was locked. I contacted customer service and no has answered up to date (17 days have passed) to get my account unlocked or refund the payment for not providing me with any service. I should not have to force a chargeback, but there are no options, since they do not answer any correspondence. I would suggest before you sign up to send them an email, see how long it takes for them to reply. A good professional site would reply within 24 hours, not these thieves.

LOTS of photos of attractive women. If you like photos, that's a good thing (some nice massage vids too). The problem is that some sets have 70+ photos but they are all nearly identical. Most of the sets could be reduced to 5 or 10 pictures and it would accomplish the same thing. No creativity here. Can be quite boring. Photography is okay, but not really professional. Just a hack with an expensive camera and a studio. Some sets have shadow problems, and on the rare occasion outside of the studio, issues with lighting and background objects appearing to protrude from the subjects. Not a good eye. As someone else noted, the comment section seems to be heavily censored. If you're not on your knees sucking Hegre's dick, then your posts will likely disappear forever.
Super high resolutions photos of the most incredibly beautiful women such as Vika, Silvie just to mention the tops. It's for anyone who truly loves perfection of the female form.
Komal, you are actually not correct. MetArt featured 50MP images before anyone else, probably 1 year before Hegre. I find Hegre very nice, but extremely cold and clinical. His idea of sensual is never subtle, but rather extreme. I think Met-Art beats in content, overall, anyone around and for a price that is not even close to others, considering the massive amount of updates. By the way, a lot of the best Hegre models are featured on MetArt as well, but plenty times in greater number of sets, often before Hegre, and possibly shot by different people in different styles. Hegre is always more of the same and as I mentioned before, very cold.
I agree, that there are no perfect sites. But if there was online perfection, this comes very close to it. The models are the best you'll find.Peter has the best taste in girls & his photography is outstanding. This was the site to provide 6000 pxls & 8000 pxls images before anyone else.
There have been some innovative and contentious developments with this site, with some male models being introduced into photos sets, so now you will see a penis or two. Some very nice Asian models lately. Overall quality of models and photos remain high, but I fear that Mr H doesn't like criticism. Adverse comments on the comments page are likely to see "access problems". Worrisome.
I keep watching preview videos of Hegre Art and I almost, almost, almost subscribed but not quite. The women are too bony and it's all just a bit too s-l-o-w. Slow-mo FX can be very sexy but not when there's nothing happening. The videos are clearly of a high quality but no matter how many time I come back to see what's new I'm still just not really turned-on in a big way by Hegre. It doesn't push my lust-button. Damn shame.
Pro: The technical quality is tops and the models are among the best. Con: It seems as though Mr Hegre has got bored or otherwise distracted, as the frequency of imaginative and creative sets has declined and the number of "point & click" sets have increased. This is sad as he does/did have a good eye and an artful flair. My annual membership is due in a couple of months and I am doubting if I'll renew. I have no doubt I'll renew for MetArt.
Nice looking girls, plenty of pictures to check out. One problem after I canceled my access to the site after subscribing for about a month. I noticed sudden increase of spam in the temp mailbox I used for hegre-art. I almost always create new free email accounts before making porn subscription purchases. Are they selling my email to advertisers?
Technically flawless photography, but pretty uninspired. A fair fraction is just the same studio setting, with little variation. It seems the photographer is very dependent on the model, since there are a few gorgeously sparkling sets. Apart from these, only the outdoor settings are tempting content, probably because these force the photographer to do an individual job in visualizing the final picture when taking it, rather than just yawn-and-shoot.
A great site, not everyones thing, but in terms of erotic-nude style sites, it is, in my opinion, the best. Similar to Met-Art in some ways, but, once again, in my opinion, far better photography and a wider variety of models. More interesting than Met-Art too, Met-Art can get boring after a while. As mentioned, 6000 pixel images, probably a little excessive for most people, I usually download the 4000 pixel versions of sets. Well worth the price considering the quality and quantity of what you get. If your thinking of a site like Met-Art, or Errotica Archives or somthing like that, I'd reccomend Hegre-Art.
had a look at hegre-art and didn't really like the content. Some of the girls are beautiful but photos very repetative. I have tried to cancel over 10 times via their web form but no response and they do not provide an email to write to. I would suggest if you are thinking about joining a site choose another one.
Pros 1. The best high resolution photos I've ever seen - this alone makes the paying for website worthwhile. 2. The hottest models anywhere. 3. Great if you like all very softcore. Cons 1. Could not get any video to play in high def after down loading. 2. Large portions of Peter's portfolio are available but sadly all of Luba twins were missing. Don't know if they ever get cycled back in since I only had a one month membership.

Good site, but too much of the same, like Met Art, Nubiles, etc. Pisses me off that guys like Bil and Geoff will give out scores like 30 and 0 because it compromises the overall user rating. WalterBosque is still the best site of this kind and am amazed it didn't receive a higher score than Rabbit gave it.
Good photography, but... Checked out Hegre Art when I got one of his vids (Riding Miss Vika) elsewhere, and found the vid description on the site was VERY misleading. Hegre also told me by email that the original vid was much higher res than my copy, but the small file size on his site made it clear he was lying. So - two lies were enough. I never went back.

Petter Hegre is Norwegian dammit, not Dutch! best Norwegian photographer there ever was. Other than that, great site and a good review.
Top notch photography, excellent site navigation/browsing (by model hair color, name, etc), a great range of girls of all proportions and colors. A good choice amongst it's peers.
Erotic exotic or a combination, this site is full of beautiful foreign models and high quality pictures. Other content includes good descriptions, decent quality videos and a unique photo forum. Great site.
There are too many 'glossy' studio-type and 'artistic' picture sets here - I much prefer the more natural look & locations of, for example, MPL Studios, JustTeenSite etc. It's also a bit pretentious - and not all of Peter Hegre's photography is that good.
Rated #1? They claim you can use a download manager, but only 1 download stream is allowed, it feeds at 30-40KBs which takes forever, and then it throws away what you downloaded so you have to start all over! For people making a living selling pictures across the internet, this is unacceptable.
I was a member of this site about 6 months ago. I had seen some of his stuff on free sites and was curious enough to try it out. I would say that Hearges site is pretty good but I personaly dont have the same taste in women I guess. Most of the gals on his site are all very skinny few have anything larger than a C cup. Dont get me wrong here Im not a big tits only guy in fact I hate breast implants. Its just on other sites in this niche there is a much better selection of all types of phyice. Also I think that they over price the 1 year membership. $150.00? come on, Met Art only charges $99.99 or roughly $8.00 a month compared to roughly $13.00 a month and for not near the about of content. This is one of those softcore art sites with some very beautiful models that you won t see anyplace else. Nice scenery. Giant images let you zoom in on every hair folicle. Every gal is real.
