Did you know there were awards called the Erotic Oscars? Well, I didn't. However, in 2001 Petter Hegre won the award for Photographer of the Year and his website Hegre Art is a wonderful archive of all his work. In fact, it is a truly unique experience in sensuality and the erotic.
HegreArt is a big website with lots of different things to browse through, so let me break it down for you. First, you want to know about pictures and videos. There are about 2,400 photo shoots available to members. The photo updates page is beautifully set up, with nice thumbnails of magazine covers with women on them.
Just pick a month from the last five years and you are given a choice of every photo shoot posted that month. Each set has about 20 to 60 pictures that you can browse through, or you can just download the set in one nice Zip file. Photos are available in four or five different resolution options and they all look incredible.
The movie section is also efficiently set up and the quality of the films is very good. The ones I saw were between five to 15 minutes long. The newest movies can all be downloaded in either HD-quality Windows Media or great-looking QuickTime formats, and many of them even have a DivX, iPod and PSP option. Like I mentioned earlier this site is about erotica and sensuality. There is no hardcore fucking or money shots. In fact, I don't think I saw a penis at all, except for my own. (Hey, the gals are hot, what do you expect?) However, these are not all just glamour shots and films. There are some nice pussy shots, some toys, and lots of nudity: think Playboy and Penthouse rather than Hustler and Swank. In all, there are about 291 videos.
I told you Hegre Art was a big site and I wasn't joking. Besides the pics and videos, there are 'photo forums,' where members send in their own photos of themselves and their partners. There is a literature section with some nice erotic stories. You can even submit your own if you want. There is a travel reports section filled with Hegre's stories about his travels and experiences searching for and photographing gorgeous babes all around the world. There is a small section with wallpaper you can download, and another with e-cards you can send to friends. There is also the 'new nude e-zine' filled with pics and articles.
