Straight Off Base Review

I've sometimes been accused during a heated discussion of being "completely off base" and yet no one has ever phrased it as my being Straight Off Base. Well, I guess no one's ever really called me "straight" anything... Let me clarify that the Base in the sitename is referencing the military world, as the site brings you straight military men willing to go gay -for-pay.

Now, though StraightOffBase may discriminate in the sense of only going for guys who are heterosexual (or at least acting the part), there's no discrimination when it comes to which branch of the armed forces the various men serve under, with sailors in the Navy, Army boys and, of course, members of the much-respected, world-renowned U.S. Marines.

I'm less skeptical of gay porn sites that claim their performers are just your average straight guys when the scenes are mostly solo - which is the case here. You'll see some handjobs , blowjobs , and, yes, even anal sex, but most of the time you're simply watching nude dudes stroking one out all on their lonesome, or maybe a mutual masturbation session and circle jerk or two, but that seems like pretty normal straight-guy stuff.

Updates are weekly (at least when it comes to the videos - the pics aren't dated) and you'll already find 176 videos to stream and download in HD. It seems like the pics are growing at the same rate, judging by how many have been added since our last visit. You can save the 359 galleries in Zip files or use the slideshow. The portrait size is high-res, but the landscape ones are more medium-res, so they can look blurry because they're stretched to fit the display.

Signing into Straight Off Base kind of feels like jumping into a time machine to about 10 years ago. It looks dated and even if the videos are HD, the quality isn't the best. But it does kind of go with the amateur style content. They could definitely use a search engine and favorites, but they do have some sorting options and tags, so that helps. 

Members used to get access to another gay site with more gay-for-pay straight guys and even military men, but as stated on the join page, both sites are now on their own and you don't get any other bonuses. They link to some live feeds and a VOD gay porn site, but you don't get any free credits. 

Still, despite no extras, Straight Off Base is offering a good deal for gay-for-pay military porn fans. And the rebill is even lower if you stick around. It would be nice if they still offered bonuses, but these military boys are hot enough that you won't be complaining too much.
