Citebeur Review

Now, I speak a little French , but the sitename Citebeur didn't make immediate sense to me beyond knowing that "cité" means "city." Then I dug around a bit and discovered that "les Beurs" is slang for "second-generation Arab immigrants to France" and it has quite a colorful history. But first let me say that the sitename loosely translates to "Arab City."

I mentioned a checkered past in using "les Beurs" and I can tell you that it remains controversial in some circles, as it has been used by xenophobes in a derogatory sense even though the term was initially coined by an antiracism movement. Citebeur falls in the middle I'd say, because it isn't breaking down any stereotypes. Rather the content owns up to them and makes them sexy.

It's like ebony sites using the term "thug," which is both used by racists and has been co-opted within black culture in the same way that "gangsta" can denote being cool even if it also implies that someone is a dangerous lawbreaker. Similar to thug porn, the young men here are portrayed as nasty bad boys hooking up with dudes on the down-low for rough sex bordering on brutal.

Another stereotype (again, one seen as positive by some) that they promote with these 1,041 videos is that Arabs are hung. So you'll see some monster cocks here and if you're a size queen then you'll have a hard time picking which flick to watch first, bringing me to the subject of how you can view these vids (there aren't any pics by the way).

An unlimited streaming plan is offered on a monthly recurring basis, but it's extremely expensive. But this collection is really marketed (and is more practical from a financial standpoint) as a VOD site. You buy "tickets" and then spend them to either watch decent-looking streams or use more of them to download a good-quality version.

As a VOD offering, Citebeur is reasonably priced. And even though I'm not sure that the portrayal of ethnic and interracial gay sex is going to do much to ease racial tensions in France, it sure gives me tension in my pants that's easy enough to relieve if I watch one of the flicks all the way through. Okay, maybe making it all the way through one before busting a nut isn't realistic.
