Erotic 3D Review

I have to admit that the Erotic 3D tour page really got me excited. The man behind all the content, Jan Schotte, is hyped-up as a true pioneer of 3D photo and video work. His material is called "exquisite" and they also talk about his talent for bringing real feminine beauty "so close to life that you will feel as if you were present at the shoot." Well, all I can say is, I should have known better!

Mr. Schotte may be a pioneer and a true artist, but you wouldn't know it from the content on Erotic3D. There is nothing here that is really any different from other erotic sites (artistic settings and poses) and the 3D, while generally good, doesn't stand out as any better than on some of the other 3D sites I have seen in the past. There also isn’t much content available.

As I write this, there are only 10 videos and 39 photo sets. The sets are mostly solo, with a few two-girl shoots thrown in as well. As for the videos, six of them are solo, one is a hot lesbian scene, one is a handjob/BJ movie, one is a standard hardcore scene and the last one is some kind of live-on-stage strip show.

While the site does have "3D" in its name they do provide you with standard 2D versions of all their scenes as well. As for the 3D, there are two options: the 3D anaglyph version that works with your standard 3D glasses and the 3D version that is meant for use on a 3D TV or 3D-enabled computer screen (using a 3D vision system from NVIDIA).

The photos are high-res, but the videos only offer average-quality bit rates. There is an embedded streaming Flash player, but it only plays short, lower-quality previews of the movies . For the full-length vid you will need to download it.

As you can tell I wasn't that impressed by Erotic 3D. The amount of content and its quality both leave something to be desired. And the final straw came when I saw that there weren't any bonus sites and that there hasn't been an update in over a year.
