It certainly has a certain quality and sophistication that many other reviewers such as myself have complained is sorely lacking in many niche sites. It doesn't seem to play on the old standby clichés in its presentation. Set up like a magazine with monthly issues highlighting updated content or even existing stuff, it is all set against a bright white background instead of the usual foreboding dark pages with corny Dungeons and Dragons motifs.

You'll enjoy 74 sets of great-quality pictures. I must qualify that they aren't high-resolution but big, crisp and clear. Sometimes, I find that digital images look washed out or flat, these photos have a remarkable color depth and detail that makes the pleasure as well as the pain, palpable. There are about 37 different models and true to its banner's proclamation, it's all about tit torturing girls. There are also loads of drawings and artwork available to see as well.

The second aspect of DarkerPleasures departing from typical niche site convention is its current 184 stories, some illustrated with photos or art. Many sites include erotic texts but rely heavily on member submissions. Although it's fun reading an average person's fantasies, without editing, the typos, spelling errors and grammatical faults are daunting at times. Darker Pleasures has tawdry tales written by professionals or at least professional sounding amateurs. I read a few researched and historically accurate period pieces, similar to excerpts from a twisted Harlequin Romance, except notably better written. Of course, there are many contemporary narratives too.

If there was any lingering doubt in my mind, once I saw its rock bottom price recommending Darker Pleasure became a no-brainer. The first month of membership is one-third of what many sites charge and if you stay longer the cost is reduced an additional thirty percent from the second month onwards.
