Pros and Cons
- good-quality videos
- keyword tags
- zipped photo sets
- nonexclusive content
- not all content in English
- no bonus sites
Are you a Futafan? Wait, you don't know what that is? Basically, it's a portmanteau of the English word fanatic and the Japanese word futanari. If your Japanese is a little rusty, that second word is the name of the genre associated with hentai and cartoon porn focusing on sexy shemales.
You actually get more than just anime and manga on Futafan, though. There is also 3D porn (in the sense of computer-generated smut – you won't need any additional eyewear here, folks). While the tour shows you screenshots from several high-quality and popular hentai movies, there actually aren't as many movies as I was expecting and none of the advertised scenes are among them.
What you do get is 44 movies, most of which are just clips from hentai DVD scenes. However, you will find the occasional full-length movie. The 3D porn usually groups its related clips together, but the hentai clips are usually treated as separate updates due to the fact that they refer to different sex scenes within a larger movie. For that reason, we counted the content the same way.
Surprisingly, there are almost five times as many photo sets. Some of the 210 galleries come from photo sets that group a bunch of random shemale-themed drawings together, but most are translated manga and doujinshi. There are also some untranslated manga and videos, as well as some that censor the cocks and pussies.
You can stream every scene in Flash (although you can't advance any of them), but the Windows Media download is always a better bet. The bit rates vary, but all the videos I watched were good in quality. The pics aren't as impressive, but despite being low-res shots, they always appear to be rather crisp. Some of these manga are very well-drawn and the same can be said about the video animations.
Don't get confused by the contradicting dates next to each scene title. One actually refers to when the movie was made in Japan and the other when it was added to the site, which lets us know that updates are once a week and also that nothing is exclusive.
There's a section dedicated to games, but it's completely empty. The bottom of the homepage also links you to sites like Lestai, Bondanime and Titanime, but note that they cost more to join. In reality, there are no extras.
A lot of the content found on Futafan will really appeal to those who like shemale hentai, but given how it's not exclusive and usually doesn't list a full series or the entire DVD film, you'll probably want to look elsewhere for your futanari fix. Perhaps this will be worthwhile once the collection has grown a bit more.
