Pros and Cons
- mostly high-res pics
- zipped photo sets
- mostly exclusive content
- no movies
- slow update schedule
- no bonus content
The "Z" at the end of Desert Girlz makes me wonder if the sitename also misspelled the word "dessert." After all, there's nothing about the site that implies the desert. However, watching these models strip for you is definitely sweet, much like the taste of most desserts.
DesertGirlz totes itself as an online magazine. It uses a basic blog template that looks good enough, but doesn't offer much in the way of navigational features. It probably won't bug you too much, but only because there's not a lot of content just yet. As a result, everything can be found on the homepage without having to scroll too much.
There are 20 galleries. One of them is a small, low-res set that's found beneath an in-depth interview with the model. The rest are photo sets that show the babes posing in various ensembles including sexy lingerie, bikinis and casual clothing. You'll often see butt cheeks, but that's only because thongs are so revealing. You'll never see a crack and not even a hint of pussy. You will often see side boob and sometimes the bras and tops are completely off, but hands always cover up the nipples.
Everything is solo here. The banner at the top of the page implies that there are lesbian sets, but it's the only image to feature more than one model. In the case of the interview gallery, the pics can be viewed in a slideshow only, but the other sets can also be viewed as complete galleries that let you select individual images and these also come with Zip folders.
There are no movies, so ignore the "HD" image often seen throughout the homepage. My guess is that they're using it to refer to the fact that the galleries (besides the one with the interview) are all high-res (1200x797).
You don't get any bonuses. There is a webcam that appears to be run by them, but as soon as you register an account, you have to pay to use it. Updates are a bit erratic and on the slow side. Most models do have more than one gallery to check out when they're added to the site, but a new one was last added in January 2013, and they're 30 days apart even when on schedule.
Desert Girlz has the potential to become a fantastic non-nude site, but until it grows, joining will make you feel like you've been deserted. If you're a major fan of non-nude action, then the very low cost of joining might appeal to you, but I'd still wait for the site to get bigger first.
