The site is nicely laid out, organized and fresh looking. I detect a slight seventies flavor in their choice of design colors, which is a fashionable touch, yet all the girls on UberBelle are quite modern.

Main content is obviously the photos, but there are a few free extras in the menu list like erotic stories and wallpapers and you'll find plenty of interesting links in the 'About' section of the site.

There are currently 47 photosets, so I'm guessing this is a newer site and indeed I discover it was founded in 2005. I'm intoxicated by their mission, which speaks to a lot of my same interests including pop culture and the erotic and art and in a way, the site is beginning to shape up like an avant-garde, European fashion magazine.

Some models are used a number of times, and I don't mind this at all because they're quite gorgeous, however bearing in mind the mandate of the site, I was surprised that there wasn't greater artistic experimentation in the photos. The pictures (391x600) are good. They show promise, yet it's obvious to me that the site offers us a fresh photographer. This isn't a bad thing, in fact it's rather exciting to watch someone develop their own unique style and take their work from raw to skilled. For example, in a set called Julie Butterfly, there is a lack of technical expertise in the lighting, set a bit too high and creating a muted shadow effect on the bottom half of some pictures and leaving little definition between the model's upper body and the backdrop. It looks a bit flat in retrospect, yet technical expertise can be developed.

Otherwise, aside from a few shots that cut the model off at her joints, there is a good sense of framing and an understanding of working with model movements. Some of the best sets of photos were outdoor shots, yet there were few truly erotic sets but this will come with experience.

Overall, this is a site worth watching if only to see how the magazine shapes up and how the the artists develop.
