The streaming vids have good-quality playback. However, you can only select the entire DVD to watch, because no partial scenes are offered. The monthly membership for US rental members is reasonable. However, the more movies you want to rent at once, the higher the cost. Per-minute rates are also competitive, but not particularly low.
