Being bored yet again one night I started to browse through some adult websites that I’ve never visited before and I came across one that dealt with somnophilia (Sleep Assault and Sleeping Tushy). For those of you who are like me and have no clue what that is, it’s the erotic fixation on the sleeping form. Most of the sites deal with imagery of beautiful girls peacefully sleeping while completely naked. Where some of them take a more hardcore turn is when a stud comes in to the room and proceeds to ravage the sleeping beauty who groggily wakes up to find her lover fucking her with abandon.

Now I suppose the appeal of this sort of revolves around having complete power over the person you’re fucking but it seems as if it could also border on a more sinister side – specifically, taking advantage of the sleeping girl as she sleeps. I did know that rape fantasies were out there and some of my couple friends admit that they occasionally delve into that kinky erotic domain, but I never heard of it described in such innocent terms as sleep fetish. Whose to say though ... perhaps there are subsets of the population who would rather have sex while their partner is asleep then have to deal with the responsibility of bringing an additional person to orgasm and instead focus completely on their own satisfaction. It’s all again just a question of being fixated on your own needs or on the needs of the person you're with.
