Sex, Drugs and Customer Service
Before turning to writing porn reviews full-time, I worked in several call centers subcontracted to some major American companies. Lately, call centers have gotten a bad rep, especially now that more of them are overseas. I'll refrain from writing a long exposé but let's just say customer service doesn't just suck for the people calling.

Clothing Optional Work
It seems like a lifetime ago now but last year after suffering an accident that broke my pelvis in two places, I had to spend 7 weeks working from home while I recovered. Having worked all my life in offices, I have to say that it was at times lonely working from home but it definitely had some perks too.

Smoking Felon Threatens to Sue Smoking Gun
TheSmokingGun.com features a lot of legal documents, contracts and mug shots, often of celebrities, sometimes of frivolous lawsuits or occasionally in the case of the arrest photos just because they're funny. People featured may prefer not to be there, but given how the evidence presented makes them seem petty, immoral or plain stupid, most just suck it up. Most folks do, but apparently not all.

New Twist to a Million Dollar Idea
I read a story from Reuters by Peter Graff (12/29/05) about a 21-year-old student named Alex Tew who came up with a scheme to earn a million dollars in advertising revenue by selling space on his homepage pixel by pixel, a dollar each per square. So for example, a 10 dot by 10 dot spot, representing the average size of a standard font letter, costs $100. It's a simple plan that has allowed him to sell approximately 911 800 pixels based out of his home in Wiltshire, southwest England. You can check out his page at milliondollarhomepage. As the journalist described it, it kind of looks like an online version of Times Square covered in blinking banners and flashing advertising headlines.

Since 2002, over 2 million Americans or about one citizen in every 142 US residents is in prison. The ongoing debate has always been about whether time in jail leads to rehabilitation or merely recidivism.
An article by Ken Ritter for the Associated Press proves a person’s past crimes may lead to complications even if she does try to straighten out her life. He writes about poor Heidi Fleiss who besides having excessive plastic surgery (my opinion, not Ken’s) her patience may end up being stretched to its limit like her face already is by her latest endeavor to become a contributing member of society. Prostitution is legal in the part of Nevada where Heidi explains, "I am opening up a stud farm. I am going to have the sexiest men on earth. Women are going to love it.” Alas, sweet, sweet Heidi may have her honest, hard working dreams dashed, since as a convicted felon released from a California prison in 1999 after serving 21 months for money laundering, tax evasion and attempted pandering, she might not qualify to hold the license required to run a legal brothel.

The Groundhog has personally fallen victim to the latest anti-pornography law to be enforced.
