Adult Dating Sites
Over the past years are sites that are billing themselves as online hookup destinations became more and more popular. Basically they are personals sites that screen their members to ensure they’re adults and then provide a forum for finding easy sex. Adult dating sites range from gay guys to swinging couples and older mature couples. This whole concept is quite innovative, as it lessens the time required to find a nice hookup.
In the olden days as the internet first emerged people would have to troll for hours to meet someone that they found attractive and who was looking for the same things sexually. Now with just a simple search mechanism on these sites you can find entire lists of people looking for exactly the same things you are.
The thing that I find a little bit disconcerting about the whole idea, however, is that it is taking away that time honored tradition of going out to bars and meeting people face to face. It’s marginalizing sex in a manner of speaking in that you both know that’s what you’re looking for so there is no pretense of having to get to know the other person really before jumping into bed with them.
I think it confuses the issue of sex and relationship for some people, especially youngsters just coming into their sexual maturity. They naturally would go to these sites to look for some acceptance of some sort and end up being preyed upon by an older paramour and then dropped as soon as they were fucked. Still though, that aside, these collections of personals are a good way to see that there are people out there just as freaky as you are and looking for the same things (and they cost less than having to buy admission to a bar and a couple of drinks).
