The truth is out there. Like in an XXX Files case, we hear the moaning of a disembodied voice of reason from out there in cyberspace... or at least, we think that's what all the noise is about?!

Recently, the Rabbit forwarded a comment posted to set the record straight about a news story originally from the AP. Arrested in India were a Finn and his girlfriend for playing porn too loudly, since porn possession is illegal in India. Click here for the full-story, posted October 7, 2005.

One individual was not amused (more than usual) by my blog entry and here follows the unedited submission of that politely unimpressed reader.

Hoinu wrote:October 07, 2005 Loud Porn Finnishes In Arrest Probing for porn-related stories uncovered an article dated Wednesday, October 5, 2005 by Neelesh Misra, an Associated Press writer. Mr. Misra recounts how an unnamed Finnish man (I assume he has a name it just wasn't reported) and his companion (She probably also has an identity of her own besides "Indian girlfriend of unidentified Finnish man") were arrested after neighbors complained they heard loud-playing porn. We sure have names,ty. And by the way no porn was playing AT ALL at the time of the ARREST nor any COMPLAINT ever made by any neighbour..Our apartment was 3500sqf n the nearest neighbour lives 10f away frm our main door !! Its the Indian Police way of getting back when one refuses to pay 'PROTECTION MONEY' Corruption beats TAJ MAHAL any day as far as TOURIST attraction is concerned. Welcome to the land of KAMASUTRA !! Regards, Hoinu(the indian girlfriend).

You may ask yourself if the above is the real deal. She seems so adamant about not playing porn (AT ALL). One might ponder how she stumbled upon my blog on RabbitsReviews. Entering several approximations of the headline on Google ranks my version of said incident tenth in the results. Therefore, possibly an annoyed Hoinu has contacted each link by link to tell her side of the tawdry tale of corruption.

Sometimes when you can't find the true story, it finds you instead and then makes a few clever remarks of its own.
