Rodox Review

I wasn't quite sure what to expect from Rodox, but the moment I entered the URL into my browser and the tour popped up, I realized I was in for some fine vintage smut. It's the kind of fun, classic porn that historians will enjoy a great deal.

Rodox is a Danish magazine that's been around for 40 years. This piqued my curiosity because I love looking at how porn has progressed over time. Going into the site, I only had one expectation and that was to find hundreds of photos.

The design is old-school, but I'll forgive them that since it does reflect the content somewhat. But the navigation could be much better. There isn't a search engine, so you'll have to use the menu, which has links to the 10 photo categories. Clicking on a category brings up multiple pages of side-by-side thumbnails, each representing a photo set.

There is no pagination. Instead you need to use an arrow below the menu to go back or forth one page at a time one. There is no filtering option and no content tags either. You'll see "live chat" and "teen cinema" links and these take you to other sites that you have to spend extra cash on. The "retro cinema" link takes you to one of the bonus sites, which I will get to in a moment.

There are 1,341 sets of photos when you combine everything, with anywhere from 15 to 30 images each. Many of the pics are high-res shots. They aren't super crisp, but then I imagine that most of them have been scanned and formatted for digital delivery since they're from old issues.

Taking this into consideration, the photos are pretty clear. They certainly look dated when it comes to the clothes, hairstyles and mostly hairy pussies. You can view them online with a minimal amount of scrolling since they almost fit the screen, but you can't download them in Zip files. Since this is a magazine, it's all about the photos, so there aren't any videos.

The collection isn't dated, but the homepage has the date of the last update and the next one. Based on that, it looks like they last updated back in April 2013. The niches are rather extensive and some of the themes include anal sex, bizarre sex, lesbian , schoolgirls and golden oldies.

There are some great anal and hardcore close-ups and good cumshot pics. The settings vary, but expect most to be indoors and occasionally you'll come across some swinger-type photos. While there are babes with shaved pussies, there are also many with full bushes, which will certainly appeal to horny hirsute enthusiasts.
